I created my handbags for today's woman with all her everyday needs

and desires in mind.

As a new French fashion designer, I

launched my brand of high quality,

top of the range handbags in 2017.

It carries my name, AUDREY

ALEXANDRE and is 100 % MADE IN

FRANCE & SUSTAINABLE.

As a modern woman my life is full of

contrasts and I have designed my

bags to reflect them, so I have

created a surprise each time the

bag is opened. There is a sharp

contrast between the outside and

the inside.

I would like to think that my bags

become a life-partner to their

This is why, through my creations

and my concepts, I want to respond

as much as possible to the needs of

WOMAN.

So I created bags which allow the

women who carry them to be able

to live and to think freely without

worrying about their personal

belongings and to feel beautiful

and care-free at the same time.

Practical and safe, they can

accompany their owners in all

circumstances, and they adapt

themselves to all occasions. The

bags are there for women

throughout their daily lives.

AUDREY ALEXANDRE creations are

at the same time, beautifully made

and refined on the outside and

bright and bubbly on the inside.

bag is an original idea.

My CREATIVE PROCESS starts with a fascination for a

particular material. For my first

collection, it was the Jacquard and

the sublime Taurillon Leather which

called to me.

After that I follow my imagination

which allows me to create refined

elegant bags which respond to the

everyday needs of women.

Finally, I decide how the materials

go together and their colours.

I work exclusively with refined, noble

materials. Leather and Jacquard are rich

materials that need expert know-

how to work them. I use silky smooth

or embossed alpine Taurillon leather

and French Jacquard which is

made with a complex weave

pattern.

I use top quality, strong, brightly

coloured cotton for the interiors of

the bags and the pochettes.

The 4 INSPIRATIONS

The first collection,

“The 4 Inspirations” of AUDREY

ALEXANDRE are different ranges of

bags with 11 different styles of bag

and 11 different styles of evening

pochettes.

The ICONIQUE, The Retro-Chic,

is a handbag designed in an

ageless Classic style with pure,

round lines. The high carrying

handles enable it to be worn on

the shoulder.

I created this line in homage to the

great female style icons of the

fifties like Audrey Hepburn, Grace

Kelly, Ava Gardner…

The INEDIT, the shopping bag

revisited, is a 24-hour bag in the

form of a V sitting on a square base.

This form gives it an ideal balance

and an exceptional ease of

carrying either in the hand or across

the body. It can be used as a

weekend or overnight bag.

The INTEMPOREL, The All-in-One, has the double function of being

both a handbag and a business

bag.

It's perfect for carrying a laptop with

its A4 size. I call it the « All-in-One »

Its functional qualities make

working women's lives easier

because they don't need to carry

so many accessories with them.

The tall handles make it possible to

wear on the shoulder.

The INTUITION, the bi-material

Shoulder bag

is a bag made in velvet Jacquard

and smooth, silky Taurillon leather.

Carried across the body so as

always to have your personal

effects close to you.

It has the form of a satchel bag and

is suitable for every situation.

It has room for all the items

necessary for an active day. It is multi-pocketed and functional

but elegant at the same time.

The POCHETTES for formal or

evening wear are in silky alpine

leather, either in smooth or

embossed crocodile, or refined

French Jacquard. All the pochettes

come with bright, multi-coloured

cotton for the interior.

Although it is more expensive, the

quality and the refinement of the

materials and the quality of work

are incomparable.

French workmanship is recognized

world-wide for its excellence and its

“savoir-faire”.

The entire range of materials and

accessories are French. The design

and prototypes are made by me,

here in Quimper, a small

picturesque town in Brittany and the

manufacturing is done by leather

workers in Cholet who have more

than 70 years’ experience working

with famous luxury brands.

In the beginning, I made my bags to

help me in my everyday life as

modern woman and working

mother.

Now, I want to share my creations

with other working women. This

concept of creating and sharing is

very important to me.

very aware of the needs of a

sustainable development.

My choice to select only materials

made in France and to

manufacture in France respects the

environment by giving local

employment and avoiding the

larger carbon footprint which is

created by long-distance transport.

I personally check the good working

conditions of the employees of my

sub-contractors.

Moreover, the leather I use is chosen

for its ecological qualities. The

coloured finish is done by a process

certified organic and is REACH

certified. A European certificate

while guarantees organic and

sustainable development.

Lastly, I offer bags of the highest

quality in both manufacture and

choice of materials. This means the

bag has a very long life and will not

need to be replaced quickly.

generation, becoming precious

heirlooms.

French Jacquard

Jacquard is a material which is not

only original but also very durable. It

is an innovation in the accessories

market.

In fact, Jacquard is a French

invention created in the 19th

century by Joseph Marie Jacquard,

a weaver from Lyon for use in

furniture manufacture.

He invented a complex weaving

process which creates the design in

the fabric.

It is very luxurious and cannot lose its

colour as in the case with printed

materials.

All the interiors are made from highly

resistant cotton in brightly coloured

patterns.
