Lalaloopsy Doll Cherry Crisp Crust Amigurumi Pattern V1.0

This pattern makes a doll about 13 inches (33 cm) tall. It has the same

dimensions as a real Lalaloopsy doll. The clothes and shoes are not removable.

Crochet abbreviations (United States)

mr = magic ring

ch = chain sc = single crochet

2sc = 2 single crochets in a single stitch sc2t = single crochet front loops of 2 stitches together

hdc = half double crochet dc = double crochet

st = stitch

sl = slip fo = fasten off

Materials you will need

□ 2.75 mm and 3.25-3.75 mm crochet hook (depending on how tightly you stitch)

□ Lily Sugar ‘n Cream 4 ply cotton yarn in chamomile, white, rose pink, and cream

□ Deborah Norville Serenity Chunky Weight yarn in lilac chiffon □ Red Heart Super Saver in gold, cornmeal, and hot red

□ Pipe cleaners with the sharp ends folded in □ Cotton buds

□ Crochet thread in black □ Felt in light pink, dark pink, and black

□ 2 large black buttons

□ Polyester fiberfill □ Yarn needle

□ Glue (I prefer hot glue)

Notes before starting

The pattern follows continuous rounds, do not join or turn unless otherwise stated. Remember to mark the first stitch of each round.

Fold this round back over the arm to form the

sleeves. Leave some yarn to sew the arms to the body (using the back loops from Round 18). Thread

pipe cleaner through the arms.

Using a 2.75 mm crochet hook and gold yarn, mr,

SKIRT


Turn the doll upside down, so that the legs are up

and the head is down. Using a 2.75 mm crochet hook and cornmeal yarn, start in the front loops of

round 12 of the body, sl st, ch 1. At the end of each round, sl st in first st of the

round and ch 1.

PIE CRUST PATTERN

Cut the patches of cherry pie filling from dark pink felt and glue to the

skirt. Using cornmeal yarn, a yarn needle and glue to hold the lines in

places, sew the pie crust pattern shown below. (Since the skirt is not

flat like the diagram below, the patches of cherry pie filling are not

rectangular, but more like a diamond.)

ICE CREAM HAT


Using a 2.75 mm crochet hook and red yarn, mr,

2 sc x 6, change to cream yarn (leave some red yarn

to surface sl st above round 2)

HAIR

Cut strands of the lilac chiffon chunky yarn that are double the length

from the top of her head to her shoulders. Fold the yarn in half and weave around the crown of her head at rounds 40 and 43 in the pattern

shown below in Figure 1. (Sorry for the terrible Microsoft Paint diagrams, I did not take many photos because I didn’t think I would write up the

pattern.)

Take a long strand of yarn and make a small oval-shaped coil and a larger oval-shaped coil. Glue the small coil on the right and the larger

coil on the left, slightly overlapping the small coil. See figure 2.

Then tie about 10 strands of yarn off center (the doll’s hair is parted on one side) as shown in figure 1 and glue above the coils (matching the

off center with the overlap between the large and small coil).

Trim as desired.

FACE

Cut a pair of eyelashes from the black felt. Glue the eyelashes to the large black buttons. Sew the holes of the buttons in a cross stitch

pattern. Glue the eyes to the head.

For her cheeks, cut two circles from the pink felt and glue to the head. (I used the black buttons as a template for the cheeks.)

Sew a mouth using black thread and pull the ends of the thread inside

the head.
