ADOPTION CONTRACT We breed with the love of the dog in mind. Every effort has been made to produce a litter both physically and mentally sound, however the buyer must accept full responsibility for proper care of this puppy once he/she leaves Seller's home. Puppy has had veterinary health checks at 3 and 6 weeks of age and has been deemed healthy. Seller shall not be held accountable for any illnesses and/or injuries incurred/arising after leaving Seller's home. Seller guarantees puppy to be sound and free of diseases at the time of transfer of said puppy to Buyer for a period of (5) days. Buyer agrees to have said puppy examined by a Licensed Veterinarian within (5) days of receipt of said puppy. This puppy is guaranteed to the original buyer for (1) one year against any genetic/hereditary hip, elbow, and eye diseases. If this puppy is found to have one of the hereditary/genetic diseases listed above, and it is found to be life threatening, the puppy must be returned to Seller and a full refund will be given. Documentation of said disease must be given from a licensed veterinarian. This puppy has been dewormed three times and the first set of vaccines given. The Buyer shall maintain the puppy in good condition, including adherence to a regular immunization schedule, heartworm preventative, good diet, and a clean and safe environment. No breeding rights are given with the purchase of this puppy. The Buyer agrees to spay/neuter this puppy. The Buyer shall forward to the Seller a spay/neuter certificate from the veterinarian performing the procedure. Upon receipt of that certificate, the Seller shall forward the registration papers for the puppy to the Buyer. Buyer agrees to and understands the following conditions: The puppy shall be kept as an inside pet and not kenneled or penned outdoors for long periods of time. The puppy shall not be sold, leased or given to any pet shop or research establishment. Buyer further agrees that said puppy shall not be used for medical or any other experimental purposes or sold/donated to pet supplier, wholesaler, shelter, pound, or humane society. Seller will accept the puppy back at 10% of the original purchase price for three years from date of contract. After that date, the Seller will accept the puppy back with no refund to Buyer. Single puppy price is $1,500 including deposit. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit will hold the puppy of your choice until final payment is made. Due to the risks involved, the Seller will not ship puppy via airline cargo. If another means of transportation/shipping is agreed upon, the Buyer agrees to be responsible for any and all costs.
