Artists from all over the world have graced the Lake of Stars stages…

Day 1 - 2 (13th - 14th September 2015): Latitude 13 Hotel, LilongweWelcome to Malawi! Upon arrival at the Lilongwe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide, after greeting you will be transferred to Latitude 13 Hotel where you will stay for the night.

This is a new contemporary boutique hotel in the heart of Lilongwe. With 3 Luxury Suites and 6 Executive Suites this boutique hotel will be a welcome surprise for business travelers and holiday makers passing through. The hotel boasts the finest restaurant in Lilongwe with an exceptional wine collection.

Day 2 - 4 (14th - 16th September 2015): Kafunta River Lodge, South Luangwa

After breakfast at Latitude 13 Hotel it is time to head to South Luangwa National Park one of the finest National Parks in Zambia, your accommodation for the next 2 nights will be at the stunning Kafunta River Lodge.

Kafunta River Lodge is a classic Zambia safari lodge and combines all the essentials for a great safari. Here you will find the rest and peace you need after an exciting day on safari in combination with personalized service and a warm welcome by our team.

At Kafunta River Lodge, each of the luxury private chalets and the main lounge & dining area overlook the game rich flood plain. Beyond the plain is the Luangwa River and one of the best game viewing areas of the magical South Luangwa National Park, the premier park in Zambia and one of the best national parks in all of Africa.

Day 4 - 5 (16th - 17th September 2015): Protea Hotel, Lusaka

Enjoy your last morning at the Kafunta River Lodge. After breakfast, we will start driving to Lusaka, the Capital of Zambia. Arriving in Lusaka later in the afternoon, we will drive straight to Protea Hotel where you will spend the night.

It is conveniently located near the airport in Lusaka. It is close to National Assembly of Zambia, Lusaka National Museum and freedom statue. Additional area attractions include independence stadium. It is also business friendly.

Day 5 - 9 (17th - 21st September 2015): The Zambezi Sun Hotel, Livingstone

We will depart from Protea Hotel soon after breakfast heading Livingstone. Arriving later in the afternoon, your accommodation will be at the stunning Zambezi Sun Hotel for the next four days.

The hotel’s location is in a prime position on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River and guests shouldn't be surprised to find the occasional zebra or impala wandering through the hotel's well maintained grounds. A resort-style complex, The Zambezi Sun is fun and welcoming, making it suitable for families, singles and couples. The restaurant and bar are positioned around the large, central pool area while the communal areas are bright, bold and spacious.

Day 9 - 10 (21st - 22nd September 2015): Protea Hotel, Lusaka

Enjoy your last morning in Livingstone and get ready to leave after breakfast back to Protea Hotel in Lusaka for a night before proceeding to Malawi on the following day.

Day 10 - 11 (22nd - 23rd September 2015): Latitude 13 Hotel, Lilongwe

We will depart from Protea Hotel Lusaka, early in the morning just after breakfast for Lilongwe, Malawi. Arriving in Lilongwe later in the afternoon, we will go straight to Latitude 13 Hotel in Area 43 for a night.

Day 11 - 13 (23rd - 25th September 2015): Blue Zebra Lodge, Nankoma Island

After breakfast at Latitude it is time to head to the lake side of Malawi, your guide will transfer you to Senga Bay where you will be transferred by boat to Nankoma Island and the Blue Zebra Lodge.

Blue Zebra Lodge is situated in the Lake Malawi National Park on Nankoma Island which forms part of Marelli Island Archipelago.

It offers 8 exclusive tented en suite chalets each overlooking the lake with some of crystal clear waters. The chalets are set in an unspoiled environment and guests are surrounded by nature and luxury. Guests are free to chill at the infinity pool, Kayak around the islands or enjoy a game of volleyball as part of the board package. The lodge also offers free use of snorkelling equipment to view the unique colourful fish that inhabit every inch of the coastline.

Day 13th – 16th (25th – 28th September): Makokola Retreat, MangochiAfter breakfast you will be transferred by boat back to the mainland. We will start driving to the Makokola Retreat in Mangochi where you will spend the last days of your tour.

Day 16 (28th September): Lilongwe International Airport

Sadly all good things must come to an end, today it is time to journey on home. You will be transferred to Lilongwe International Airport where you will connect to your flight back home. We hope you will take fantastic memories of your vacation back with you and return to Africa soon!
