Who is SRI?SRI Homes is a name synonymous with manufactured and modular home building, having its roots back to the 1960’s. However, today’s homes have little in common with those beginnings. The beauty of SRI’s homes is that they off er the same decor choices and options of site built homes, but at a fraction of the cost. Not only cost savings, but time savings means your new SRI home is ready in weeks rather than months. Your SRI retailer takes care of ordering, delivery, set up and any necessary after sales service. Wow, that was easy!
NEW Triple Wide Modular Homes...The Kelowna factory began building triple wide homes in Spring 2011 to meet market demand for more fl ex-ibility and options in design and layout. These homes off er such design features as covered decks, large open living rooms, expansive master bedrooms with walk in closets and numerous Ensuite layouts. The opportuni-ties to custom design these homes is also increased with three sections to work from. Let your imagination guide you as you look through the fl oorplans and options in this new and exciting series of homes.
Decor OptionsAfter you have your fl oorplan estab-lished, then the decor choices begin. Cabinets, countertops, fl oorcoverings, paint colours. The list goes on......

Modular Construction is a Process not a StyleA misperception exists that “modular” refers to a type or style of home. Modular actually refers to a construction process in which large components are pre-built in a manufacturing facility and then shipped on carriers to the home site. Architecturally, modular construction is not limited to simple ranch style homes; it can be used for a variety of housing styles.
Building off -site in a controlled environment has many advantages. Modern component construction processes combined with a team of skilled craftsmen allows SRI to fabricate a stronger and more durable structure. Building materi-
als and fi nished modules are protected from weather-related damage that can lead to costly rework. In addition, modules are continually inspected throughout the building process to ensure they are built to the appropriate residential or com-mercial building code and meet our quality standards.
Modular is GreenerStudies suggest that with modular construction, there’s a dramatic reduction in waste due to continuous recycling activities, the use of pre-cut lumber and a greater accuracy in cuts. Material is stored in the facility, which results in less waste from weather damage. And the effi ciency of the modular manufacturing process reduces CO2 output compared to traditional site construction.
Modular isNeighbour-hood FriendlyBecause 80 percent of modular construction occurs off -site, the majority of the on-site noise, dust, debris and traffi c created by traditional construction are eliminated. This also means fewer hazards on the job sites and neighbors are less bothered by the con-struction.
