Come together with your neighbors to perform random acts of
kindness throughout the area and encourage others to pay it
forward. Nearly 300 people attended the most recent event Feb.
12 in Lansing. We're very fortunate to have this nationally
recognized program – recently featured on the CBS Evening
News – available to us! Learn more at ePIFanyNow.org.
We will need many hands to make this amazing program
happen. If you'd like to help organize food, set up the venue,
promote the event or just greet people at the door, there will
many opportunities to be involved. Please e-mail Carrie
Rathbun Hawks ([email protected]) or Ed Buskirk
([email protected]) with your interest or questions.

Farewell
Luncheon for
the Dulworths
Mark your calendars now! Sunday, June
10, following worship there will be a
luncheon to honor pastor and Dawn. You
don’t want to miss this opportunity to
fellowship with them one last time!
Sean Divine is wrestling for the
Laingsburg club of MYWAY, a
Michigan youth wrestling
association.
He weighs in at 79 to 80 lbs and
that makes him a heavyweight.
He has taken firsts in five
tournaments and one second. Even
though he had no one in his bracket
for regionals, he wrestled 2-77 lbs
in exhibition. He pinned one and
won the other 11-4.
We are so excited for him and very
proud. He is working really hard and keeps positive. Sean just
got a second place in the state finals, wrestling a boy from
Montrose. “He worked super hard! He said he had fun! We are
so very proud of our son.” Marty & Deb Divine

LUMC is offering a core exercise class in
partnership with the Shiawassee YMCA.
Registration is open to anyone in the community
and is not limited to church members.
Classes will start at 1 p.m. on April 24 and run for
seven weeks. Cost is $4 per week. The group will
meet temporarily at St. Isidore’s Catholic Church
on Crum Street while the Methodist church
construction finishes up.
The core exercise class is a low-impact program
designed for older adults, some of whom may
have minor health issues. But it is also open to all
who wish to incorporate more healthy movement
in their lives.
For more information, contact Jean Smith at
517-651-7520. Registration closes April 17.
