• Water Availability Decreased from 5,000 Cubic Meters per capita in 1950s to 1000 Cubic Meter in 2010 (WAPDA).

• Water Availability per capita Ranks Last Amongst Asian Countries (FAO).

• Pakistan is Becoming a Severely Water Stress Country.

• Resulting in Conflicts with Neighbouring Countries Including China, Bangladesh & Nepal.

– Now, it is obligatory upon the Business Community of Pakistan to counter this threat

in this national cause– All Chambers of Pakistan should own and support PWF as

their project– Every Chamber should establish a PWF Coordination Unit in

their organization and appoint a focal person for coordination among ourselves
