PETITION AT LAW

COMES NOW, Plaintiff, Farmers Cooperative Company (hereinafter Farmers) and for

its claim for relief against Defendant, Jim Reiman (hereinafter Reiman) states:

1. Farmers is a corporation duly organized and existing in accordance with the laws

of the State of Iowa with its principal place of business located in Farnhamville, Iowa.

2. Farmers is engaged in the business of selling various agriculture-related products

and services.

3. Reiman is an individual resident of Sac County, Iowa.

4. Farmers and Reiman entered into an Agreement under the terms of which Farmers

would provide agricultural products and services to Reiman, and Reiman was obligated to pay

for those products and services by the 15th of the month following the purchase, subject to a

finance charge of 1.5% per month on the unpaid balance.

5. Between May 1, 2013 and July 1, 2013, Reiman purchased agricultural products

and services from Farmers and took delivery of those products and services in Sac County, Iowa.

6. Farmers billed Reiman for these amounts under Account #29810.

7. The terms and conditions governing the sale of products and services to Reiman

are set forth in account statements which were forwarded to Reiman on a monthly basis. A copy

of these terms and conditions is set forth as Exhibit 1 and is incorporated by reference herein.

8. The date of each purchase, the item or services purchased, and the amount of each

sale are detailed in the Bill of Particulars appended hereto as Exhibit 2.

9. Reiman has failed and refused to pay for the products and services purchased.

10. As shown in Exhibit 2, as of May 16, 2014, there was due and owing by Reiman

to Farmers, principal and accrued interest in the amount of $36,544.63, plus interest at the rate of

$14.94 per diem from and after May 16, 2014.

WHEREFORE, Plaintiff, Farmers Cooperative Company, prays for judgment against

Defendant, Jim Reiman, for all amounts owed under Account #29810, together with interest as

allowed by law, the costs of this action and for such further and additional relief as the Court

deems just and appropriate.
