“What are the advantages
of a two-year medical education fellowship?”
The two most valuable commodities in fellowship are protected time and mentorship. The additional protected time through a second year of fellowship allows you to further advance your professional development through the completion of a degree or certificate program, while also giving you the time necessary to develop a successful scholarly niche through the extended mentorship of dedicated faculty members in a variety of educational domains. You will grow as a junior clinician, educator, scholar, and leader, while simultaneously increasing your competitiveness in the eyes of future employers.
