EVENT: 1st Croatia Open Labyrinth Cup

ORGANIZER: OK „Ris” Delnice

PROGRAMME: round 1, round 2 and round 3 will be organized during stage 4. We will draw pairs in

finish area. There will be no start list. Quarter final, semi-final and final will be organized just after 5th

stage - before prize giving ceremony. Exact programme will be also announced by speaker during event.

MAP: Labyrinth – scale unknown ;)

TIME KEEPING: SportIdent will be used for punching controls. Elimination system will be used – runner

who passes finish line first will win and go into next round.

RULES: Start will be in pairs. Runner who finishes first and punches all control points in the right order

will go into next round. It is forbidden to jump over labyrinth walls. This will result in disqualification. It is

also not allowed to punch SI station over the fence. Runner must come at the exact place of control

point and then he may punch SI station.

MONEY PRIZE: We will ensure 350€ prize fond for best three runners.

ENTRY FEE: 10€

LIMIT: event is restricted to 64 competitors only. Minimum number of runners for this event is 32. In

case if we don´t get 32 runners on entry list organizer keeps the right to cancel this event.

Once again note that participation is restricted and that entry is possible only in case if there are no

more than 64 runners on the list.

MAPS: Each competitor will get map just before the start and you are obligated to return the map

immediately after crossing the finish line. Competition maps will be returned to competitors after round

3 is over. Maps will be printed on non-waterproof paper. In case of rain maps will have plastic cover.

COURSES: Courses will consist of up to 10 control points. Lengths of courses are no more than 200m but

we will make it as complicated as we can ;). Note that control points will have small dot in centre of

circle.

CONTROL DESCRIPTIONS: There will be no control descriptions. Exact position of control is determined

with small dot in centre of circle (look at example in attachment).

INSURANCE: each competitor takes part at his/her own risk.

PRIZE GIVING: Prize giving will be combined with overall prize-giving ceremony for Croatia open.

ELIMINATION SYSTEM: We will use elimination system based on 64 runners. Pairs in round 1 will be

drawn in finish area. If your pair runner doesn’t start you will pass into next round automatically.
