    Service Information:

    TAFE Motors and Tractors Limited (TMTL) shall offer 3 free service visits along with every engine manufactured by the company and supplied to the customers ofnon-cellular segment for Silent DG Set application. This shall be applicable for PG engines with ESN: 5211series onwards.The schedule of labour free service visits will be as follows :-

    Type of Visit

    Commissioning Visit

    Service Visits : With EicherRakshak Oil With other Oil of recommended grade

    Ist free service visit

    Within 50 hours of DG running or 15 daysfrom the date of DG commissioning,whichever occurs earlier, along withreplacement of Oil and Filters

    Within 50 hours of DG running or 15 days fromthe date of DG commissioning, whicheveroccurs earlier,along with replacement of Oil andFilters

    2nd free service visit

    Within 550 hours of DG running or 195 daysfrom the date of DG commissioning,whichever occurs earlier, along withreplacement of Oil and Filters

    Within 300 hours of DG running or 105 daysfrom the date of DG commissioning, whicheveroccurs earlier, along with replacement of Oil andFilters

    ENGINE MODELS AFFECTED: All models: 222ESG,322ESG,323ESG,422ESG,422TC, 621ES, 881ES

    SAFETY NOTICE:Instructions in the bulletins assume that the technician has sound knowledge on safety procedures and has been trained on the maintenance and repair of Eicherproducts. If you are unsure or do not understand the information contained in this bulletin, please contact TMTL for assistance. Remember SAFETY comes FIRST.

    SERIAL NUMBER RANGE AFFECTED: 5211series onwards

    OEA INFORMATION:

    MANUFACTURING EFFECTIVITY SL NO.: 100% from 5211series onwards EFFECTIVITY DATE: 01.07.2013

    5.The warranty of the engine shall be deemed to be VOID if the recommended service schedule is not followed by the customer.

    The above labour free services can be availed only through the Authorised Service Dealers of TMTL, subject to the following conditions :-

    1.The labour free service visits are applicable only for the DG sets manufactured by the Authorised OEAs (Original Equipment Assembler) of TMTL and purchased fromthe Authorised dealers.

    2. All consumable parts and Oil for the Ist and 2nd service visits shall be arranged by the customer through the authorized service dealers on chargeable basis.

    3.Genuine parts and recommended oil are used during the routine services of the DG set.

    4. It is the responsibility of the DG set purchaser to avail these free service visits as per the above recommended schedule. After the specified timelines, the freeservice visit offer shall not be applicable.

    PROCESS FLOW - COMMISSIONING VISIT

The above process of Free Commissionin g Visit thru TMTL shall be applicable only on PG Engine sold in Silent DG application for non-cellular segmentand effective from ESN - 5211..... onwards. For all the engines manufactured prio r to this period and / or sup plied to telecom segments, the existin g systemshall be applicable.2. For applicability of free commissio ning visit , please refer to the Offer for Labour free service visits sheet.

    Technician to check theinstallation of the DG

    Commissioning done by SDTechnician; details captured

    in commissioning report

    Technician to inform SDoffice regarding closing of

    commissioning call

    Call closure information toOEA and TMTL Care by

    ASI

    Information to ASI by SDoffice

    SD to entercommissioning details

    on TMTL Portal

    SD to liasion with Customerand TMTL for labour free G1(50 hrs) and G2 (500 hrs)services; Charges to beclaimed by SD from TMTL

For applicability of free services, please refer to the Offer for Labour free service visits sheet.3. The Parts and Oil required duirng t he Ist and IInd PM service shall be chargeable fro m the customer.
