A warm welcome to you to a year full of surprises and excitement in 2013!

Our biennially held LabAsia is back this year with our last appearance in 2011.

Looking back to 2012, we have many things to be grateful of. We’ve wrapped up a good year with two major events - LabIndonesia and LabVietnam.

LabIndonesia held on 8 to 10 May 2012, has proven itself to be the biggest and most focused International Lab Exhibition in Indonesia. It has successfully gathered a total of 137 exhibitors from China, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and UK. More than 7500 quality visitors attended this major scientific 3-day event. While LabVietnam held in the early month of November 2012, also attracted a huge number of scientific professionals, manufacturers, suppliers and end users.

We would like to thank exhibitors, visitors, government agencies, associations and media partners for your endless support and we look forward to see you soon this year!

ICWWM 2013 International Conference on Water and Wastewater Management

In 2013, Malaysia’s government aims to transform Malaysia from an oil and gas producer to a global integrated trading hub by enhancing the refinery activities on petroleum products. Therefore, various special tax incentives and non-tax incentives, such as cost of land acquisition and financial assistance, 100% exemption for 10 years time, exemption of withholding tax and stamp duty, have provided to support and encourage the operators in these industries.

Furthermore, Malaysia’s government also allocated a sum of RM5.8 billion for agriculture sector to enhance the national income and ensure the food security; RM30 million for agricultural development programmes; and RM75 million to boost the output of food and health products. Besides, Malaysia’s government target to invest $10.6billion between 2006 and 2020 in order to achieve 6.9% annual growth. This shows the potential of Malaysia Chemical Industry, hence ChemAsia is born.

ChemAsia 2013 is an avenue for chemical industry players to showcase their capabilities which will keep buyers aware towards their brands and receive direct feedback through face-to-face interaction between buyer and sellers. Besides, exhibitors are able to meet people from different levels such as senior officials of Malaysia’s Government, diplomat, CEOs, top officials and professionals from the chemical companies of Malaysia and abroad.
