Some of the roles for Windows Server ’08 are Windows AD/DC Server, DNS, DHCP, File, Print, NAP, Terminal Server, IIS, WDS and WSS. Some of the features for Windows Server ’08 are NET, Bitlocker Encryption, BITS, Remote Assistance, SMTP Server, SNMP, telnet server & client, failover, NLB, TFTP, Windows Server Backup, WINS, and Powershell 2. What is installed when you choose the RSAT-DFS-MGMT-Con feature? When you install RSAT-DFS-MGMT-Con feature you get the Distributed File System Tools feature 3. How often should servers be backed up? Servers should be backed up every day by an incremental and with a weekly Full-backup. 4. What are the different types of data back-up that are performed? There are incremental, full and differential backups. 5. What is the command to create a share? "RMTSHARE.EXE" is the command to create a share 6. What is a differential backup? A differential backup saves the data that has changed since the last full backup. It has the advantage that only a maximum of two data sets are needed to restore the data.
