behind the scenes during Recruitment parties. A big thank you goes out to each day captain who acted as the point person organizing each days volunteers: Jana Bickel, Jacqueline Yudkin, Giselle Rocha Milatovic, Melanie Sharon O'Donnell, Carol Reed, Francine Restivo Cafarchia, Desiree Bedoy Gooch,

Kathleen Burns Campos, Barbara Meador Callard, Marijayne Wallace Stegman, Cindy Hill, and Leeza Hoyt. In addition to these wonderful sisters, more than fifty other alumnae from initiating chapters all over the country helped out. Amidst all the work, a bit of chaos, and a smattering of problem solving, the alumnae had a great time helping out and learning that while Recruitment has changed over the years, at the heart it is still the same. Its about making those personal connections we all still cherish.Being behind the scenes, we could often

only hear what was going on. We became accustomed to hearing the roar of conversation as it built with the Potential New Members entering the house, then quieted as the bell was rung so one of the officers could speak or the program could start, only to have it build again, then fade away as the last PNMs left the party. This was generally our cue that we could emerge from behind the doors and curtains to get ready for the next party. Therefore, it was so fun when, after the Entertainment round at USC, the collegians treated the alumnae and parents to a reprise of their slideshow and dance. Our collegians at both chapters had successful Recruitments we lcoming l a rge New Member classes. Both chapters will continue to participate in Continuous Open Recruitment (COR) as they work to build their chapters towards Chapter Total. The possibilities for these c h a p t e r s a r e endless! Which works as a nice segue to the theme for International Reunion Day 2016 which is Endless Possibilities. I think this theme makes for a great theme to the entire year. As alumnae, we know that Alpha Gamma Delta opened us up to a world of endless possibilities socially, professionally, personally, and fraternally. I hope that you will make a point to be a part of those endless possibilities during the 2015-2016 fraternal year. IRD will held in Los Angeles county this year on April 2nd but there are also many other activities on our calendar. We are also excited about a renewed effort to build a strong Junior Circle presence in Los Angeles. Recent UCLA graduate Alex Camarella will be heading up the effort so look for more information coming soon!

Delta Epsilon @ UCLAIn Bruin LandFall quarter started with preparations for Formal Recruitment in mid-September. In between practicing rotation, decorating the house, and preparing for school to start, the members took some time to create toiletry bags for the women at House of Ruth, a womens shelter the alumnae chapter also supports.

Formal Recruitment started mid-week during the first week of classes culminating in Tuesday nights Bid Day ceremony where the chapter welcomed a wonderful New Member class. Since then, the members have held a sisterhood retreat in Malibu where they had fun hiking and doing team building and bonding activities. In October, during Parents Weekend, the members had a tailgate with the dads and other family members and introduced their New Members at Presents. The chapter is excited to be initiating 52 women on November 21st.

Delta Alpha chapter wrapped up the Spring 2015 semester with our first-ever sports philanthropy, Buff Bowl! Teams from fraternities all along the row came out to McAllister field, after a week of festivities and intense shirt-selling championed by the respective Alpha Gam team captains, to participate in a tournament known as push ball.

Shortly after, we were pleased to initiated into our sisterhood the lovely ladies of our Spring 2015 pledge class, who are our fourth initiated class since being recolonized at the University of Southern California.

Final ly, everyone had a night to remember at our last invite of the year, our formal invite, Rose Ball. Dressed to the nines, our sisters danced the night away in Hollywood alongside their stunning dates.

Our chapter kicked the new school year o f f w i th a busy week o f fo rma l recruitment, culminating in a colorful, floral-themed bid day, where we were happy to welcome a whole new class of inspiring women to our sweet home, Alpha Gamma Delta.

Everyone had an amazing time cultivating new acquaintances, reconnecting with rush crushes, and even connecting with

future bigs/littles. In the fall semester, we typically host a food-house, inviting both the Greek community and the greater Trojan family to partake in all-you-can-eat, cheesy, gooey goodness for a good cause and raised over $3,000, in addition to welcoming many new friends into our home.

Even with midterm season rolling around, our members had the opportunity to blow off some steam at our Draft-A-Date themed invite, where our sisters and their dates had a ball representing their favorite sports teams.

In January, about 20 Alpha Gams of all ages ascended the hill to the Getty Museum for a day of culture and a scavenger hunt (digitally, of course) of specific art pieces and themes.

We enjoyed lunch on site and got to know each other better. It was a lovely and very warm January day. Stay tuned for more fun and interesting gatherings.

We all agreed that the Getty needed more time to be absorbed.
