Pieces + Parts
project one, pieces and part, is an introduction to following project at a large scale. students begin by making condition ground and determining the structure and/or field and forest with application of design compositions. The pieces made of basswood, at its finished phase, are then put together to create a giant frankenstein monster.

Project TWO
Mapping and Recon
In project two, students begin to understand and make sense of the site by visiting. With the experience and observation, they create a mapping and diagram of processes occuring on the site. The diagrams demonstrate a level of research which will then help them in the design process later.
Project THREE
Taxonomy of Emergent Spatial Types
In project three, students explores a va-riety of ways to change the edge condi-tio between land and water. Using rules derived from their research, they create site specific condition and structure to the edge. The result is a combined piece after actions upon the landform and structure, that the land and water begin to communicate.

Project FOUR
Silver Linkages + Exquisite Structures
After all research and site analysis, students can begin to critiically make decision on a specif secion of the site. The design process involves a series of decisions based on three biases of human, animal, and plant. The design should negotiate the edge conditions and benefit but is not limited to the the biases. In the final stage, students put together models and begin a conversation of potentials of the future Silverlake Reservoir.
