The top 10 NOCs will qualify 1 team; men or women. The top NOCs in ranking order will receive 1st priority on which gender they choose to represent them in the 6-Team

Tournament. As soon as 5 teams per gender is chosen, the following NOCs will not be able to choose the gender of a team anymore.

The top 1 NOCs (not including the host country) will be allowed to send 1 goaltender.

Youth A World Cup during the Youth Olympic Season If there are a maximum of 19 NOCs represented in the Youth A World Cup singles event with a

minimum of 1 athlete who achieved the minimum FIL standard, then every NOC will be allocated 1 quota place in the respective gender.

Should athletes from more than 19 NOCs achieve the minimum FIL standard, then the top 19 NOCs in the athletes’ overall ranking of the Youth A World Cup will be allocated one quota place

based on the NOC’s best athlete’s placement.If there are less than 19 NOCs in the athletes’ overall ranking, then the second best ranked athlete

from an NOC already qualified, will earn their NOC an additional 1 quota place in the respective gender until the maximum quota of 19 per gender is filled.

If there are a maximum of 14 NOCs represented in the Youth A World Cup doubles event with a minimum of 1 doubles who achieved the minimum FIL standard, then every NOC, will be

allocated 1 quota place of two athletes in the respective gender.Should doubles from more than 14 NOCs achieve the minimum FIL standard, then the top 14

doubles on the doubles’ overall ranking in the Youth A World Cup be allocated one quota place based on the NOC’s best double’s placement.

Unused quota will be reallocated in the following order:1. (singles and doubles): to the next best ranked NOC not yet qualified, whose athlete has achieved the minimum standard of FIL based on the overall ranking of the Youth A World Cup.2. (singles): to the second-best athlete from an NOC already qualified.

The next best ranked NOCs in the Marc Hodler Trophy standings will be allocated 2 men and 2 women quotas until the total quota of 60 men and 60

women is filled.

The remaining quota places will be allocated, with a maximum of 1 man and/or 1 woman per NOC to the next best ranked, not yet qualified NOCs who

have indicated their interest for a quota place, based on the men and women YOG quota allocation lists, until the maximum quota is reached.

NEW SPORT

In line with Agenda 2020, a new sport, Ski Mountaineering, was added to

the Event Programme for Lausanne 2020 with 2 individual events per

gender and 1 mixed gender event.
