EMAG is one of the longest running electron microscopy conferences in the UK and attracts international speakers as well as a large part of the UK microscopy community. EMAG also has a proud tradition of supporting PhD students. The conference format consists of oral as well as poster presentations.
EMAG 2016 will be dedicated to a focussed topic (i.e. no parallel sessions), so that there is more opportunity for networking among delegates. It is expected that the conference theme will be sufficiently broad to interest researchers working in the applications of electron microscopy, technique and instrument development as well as simulations. We expect 100+ delegates to attend the conference, which will be held on 7–8 April 2016 in Durham.
