POSITION: EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT – PERMANENT ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $ 45,910.63 to $ 53,242.25 CLOSING DATE: May 21, 2019 IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Executive Director The Wanaki Centre is a residential treatment facility for alcohol and substance abuse that has been operational since 1991. Our service is provided to adult First Nation and Inuit Peoples from across Canada and is delivered in both official languages French and English. The Center is governed by the 9 Algonquin First Nation communities of Quebec. We provide an accredited five week residential program using a holistic trauma informed and culturally based approach to recovery. THE CANDIDATE: The Executive Assistant will be responsible to support administrative, human resource and financial operations. We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated bilingual individual who can work under pressure to support the team. REQUIREMENTS □ Bilingual English and French fluently spoken and basic written □ University degree or College diploma in related field or □ Completion of a high school diploma and five years of work experience in administration, human resources or finance
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES □ Administration: Support the Board of Directors and staff with day to day administrative needs such as; management
of incoming and outgoing calls, mail and emails, travel expense claims, filing and inventory. □ Human Resources: payroll management, staff leave data entry, knowledge of CNESST □ Finance: accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation
ASSETS FOR THE POSITION: □ Ability to speak Algonquin or another First Nation language □ Experience with SAGE or Simply Accounting □ Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Web development) □ Excellent planning skills □ Ability to travel occasionally □ Ability to work overtime when required

LE CANDIDAT: L’adjoint excécutif sera chargé à l’appui administratif, ressources humaines et des opérations financières. Nous recherchons une personne bilingue dynamique et motivée, qui peut travailler sous pression pour soutenir l’équipe. EXIGENCES □ Bilingue anglais et français couramment parlé et écrit de base □ Diplôme universitaire ou diplôme collégial dans un domaine connexe ou; □ Diplôme d'études secondaires avec cinq ans d'expérience professionnelle en administration, en ressources humaines ou en finance. RESPONSABILITÉS FONDAMENTALES □ Administration: gestion des appels, courriers et courriels entrants et sortants. Support au Conseil d'Administration et de l'équipe, tel que; demandes d'indemnité de déplacement, suivis, classement et inventaire □ Ressources humaines: gestion de la paie, saisie des données de congés du personnel, connaissances de la CNESST □ Finance: comptes créditeurs et débiteurs, rapprochement bancaire ATOUTS POUR LE POSTE: □ Capacité de parler Algonquin ou une autre langue Première Nation □ Expérience avec SAGE ou Simple Comptable □ Excellentes compétences en informatique (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, développement Web) □ Excellentes compétences en planification □ Capacité de voyager occasionnellement □ Capacité à faire des heures supplémentaires au besoin
