Kyle’s LessonKyle’s Lesson You are now 18 years old. You have decided that you

will not go to college but rather you want to go out on your own. Since you have chosen not to go to college your parents have decided that you cannot live at home. Therefore, you must find a job and get an apartment.

Since you do not have a college degree or any relevant work experience you will have to get a minimum wage job.

All of your friends are going to college out of town so you will not be able to have a roommate. You must either find a studio apartment or a one bedroom.

Because your parents still love you, they will scrounge around and find old furniture you can have so you don’t have to spend any money on furniture, dishes, etc. All other expenses are yours!
