Lauderdale, Florida May 2016-August 2016 During my internship I gained a lot of experience in the area of sales and how to handle deals and meeting with clients. I was allowed to shadow multiple salesmen as we went on many trips and see how the world of sales worked. Along with my duties shadowing and assisting the sales team I assisted the financial team with any work they needed such as flow through lease billing, the preparation of deals and their numbers. Cardinal Logistics : logistics intern; Concord, North Carolina July 2016-August, 2016 My duties as an intern included shadowing and assisting the logistics team in the planning and implementation of trucking routes. Another one of my duties was to assist the IT team with any new handheld accountability hardware. _________________________________________________________________________________ _________________ Certifications Green Belt Six Sigma: Six Sigma is a disciplined, data-driven approach and methodology for eliminating defects in any process from manufacturing to transactional and from product to service. I earned my certification as a green belt in the fall semester of my senior year. I completed the course which made me eligible to take the test. I passed the test later in the semester. _________________________________________________________________________________ _________________ Academic Projects Bulldog Business bowl: As Cadets we assemble a four-man team to create our own “business”. This planning includes cost, how to start up, resource allocation, and financial planning. 2014. My other duties included playing in the tournament with the kids. The experience in all was enriching.
