KwikTag streamlines the entire life cycle of a document-driven transaction by automating document routing and approval, while facilitating the creation of related transactions in Microsoft Dynamics. From single-document approvals, to complex, multi-document cases that require multiple reviewers, KwikTag makes it easy to enforce approval policies and quickly view all documents within a single case view.
Flexible workflow tools allow you to route documents for approval based on your business rules, while providing an audit trail of all transactions from the creation or receipt of a document, all the way through to the creation of an entry in Microsoft Dynamics. KwikTag’s simple, intuitive workflow tracking tools make it easy to monitor pending transactions, completed approvals, in addition to rejected requests. Flexible rules for automatically delegating documents when approvers are unavailable, or automatic escalation rules for documents that remain in queue, allow you to instantly identify and resolve process bottlenecks.
KwikTag for AX manages invoice approval workflows, attaching documents and kicking off a business rules-based approval flow from within the AX payables transaction form line item. Once submitted to KwikTag, the transaction assumes a KwikTag hold status until all approvals are gained through KwikTag. The integration between the systems includes the releasing of the transaction hold after KwikTag approvals are complete. Alternately, documents can be entered in KwikTag first, routed through approval or matching rules automation logic, and result in the creation of an AX transaction, or the attachment of the document(s) in KwikTag to existing AX transactions.
Case management delivers multi-document process transparency
KwikTag’s case management functionality works to support complex multi-document processes that may cross departments. KwikTag can be configured to recognize relationships among multiple documents that are specific to a particular transaction, or type of transaction, aggregating them for routing, review, approval or audit.
An example of KwikTag case management in action is AP payment approval, in which a single check pays multiple invoices. Each payment has documentation such as emails or an invoice approval trail, and may have related information like vendor contracts. KwikTag case management functionality allows stakeholders to aggregate documents based upon a payment/check view, with all associated invoices, packing slips, emails or other documents linked for detailed review prior to payment approval. KwikTag provides the whole picture, and a structure to automate complex or simple processes.
