Professional Experience Details

Tech Mahindra: Provides Software and Software enabled services to the clients across the Globe.

#Projects: National Australian Bank (NAB)

National Australian Bank is one of Australia's leading financial institutions. CONNEX Switch System is a full function EFT solution designed for financial institutions, merchants, NAB Network and third party processors. Its application support includes ATM management, POS device management, Transaction authorization, Transaction switching, Network connectivity and Card production management.

As part of NAB (CONNEX) project, my role is Analyst Programmer where I’m responsible for application development and maintenance of services for applications / modules of CONNEX.

Details of the projects with NAB (CONNEX):

1. Cabcharge – Development of Interchange links :

This project builds two new PI (Processor Interfaces) interchange links for Cabcharge (taxi service) to interact with NAB in place of existing Terminal Handlers (TH). The new PI’s will also provide the ability to process card present attended, card present unattended and card not present transactions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Complete lifecycle - Analysis, design, implement, deploy and handover to support. Involved in Impact analysis, Gap analysis, coding and unit testing. Creation of Packages and staging the components into Endevor (Versioned Environment). Involved in Coding and Unit testing of batch changes. Worked on Finsim to create the transactions for testing the code. Preparation of Implementation Plan and involved in implementation support. Worked on FTI, Connex Console and NETSTAT for testing and implementation support. Creation and maintenance of change records.

2. Connex Active-Active

Connex Active-Active is the uplift project, which involves maintenance of 2 images of connex.This changes the earlier practice (using second image as only backup) by sharing the tasks like Terminal Handlers (TH), Terminal Communication Handlers (TCH), Host Communication Handlers (HCH) etc., between the two images of connex by using odd and even sequenced method. In case of an image failure, all work load will automatically move to remaining image.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Worked on complete lifecycle - Analysis, design, implement, deploy and handover to support.• Preparation of test cases and loading into ALM.• Involved in Impact analysis, Gap analysis, coding and unit testing.• Participated in system testing and UAT testing support.• Creation of Packages and staging the components into Endevor (Versioned Environment).• Worked on FTI, Connex Console, and NETSTAT for testing support and implementation support.• Creation and maintenance of change records.

3. Mobile Payments and Digital Wallets

Mobile Payments and Digital wallets provide new shopping experiences for customers by extending the existing card payment mechanisms to electronic devices. NAB issued Cards will use a token (DPAN – Digital Pan) and FPAN (Financial PAN) technique to process the transactions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To interact with Client and get their requirements.• Test Case preparation using ALM and Data preparation.• Involved in coding and unit testing.• Participated in Implementation activities.• Creation and maintenance of change records.• Preparing the Relevant Documentation.

4. BAU Activities:

The Business As Usual (BAU) is must in daily activities. NAB will have to provide code fixes or solutions for the interruption caused in business due to new implementations and at times support other projects. Analyzing and preforming several repeatable tasks for BAU 3rd party teams

Responsibilities include:

Solving Technology service requests. Analyzing the stats of the issuer/acquirer and performing CONNEX health Check using CONNEX

message console and FTI. Analysis Coding, development and implementation through SDLC process. Creating process documents for the tasks completed. Automating redundant tasks and large volume tasks. Extract data, generate report, resolve reconciliation issues, investigation of issue and performing

planned updates to PRODUCTION data

5. Scheme Compliances:

Every piece of cardholder account information that passes through the Visa payment system is vital to our business. Without proper safeguards in place, this information can be vulnerable to internal and external compromise, leading to fraud and loss of consumer confidence. The goal of Visa’s security programs is to ensure the highest standard of due diligence to protect sensitive cardholder data from hackers and fraudsters.

The Scheme Compliance is must Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards. NAB will have to change its compliances according to the VISA/Master Card Compliance.

Responsibilities include:

• Activities/Tasks should be handled as team member.• Coding, development, unit testing and SDLC process.• System Testing Using TESTBEDs.• Support for implementation.

As part of AP Legislature project, my role is Software Developer where I’m responsible for Software Development, with developing several projects based on Client –Server, Internet-Intranet Application development.Details of the Modules with AP Legislature project:

AP Legislature – Pensions, Research & Reference Modules

The main aim of project is the automation of AP legislative Assembly and Council. The main activities of legislature includes, providing Citizen Centric Services such as filing of e-Petitions directly to the Honorable Speaker and the Members and also to provide all the information related to Sessions & Debates, right from date of inception of AP Legislative Assembly i.e.1952 to till date. It contains various modules like, Administration, Member services, Member claims, Accommodation, Research and reference (RR), Pensions, Questions, Sessions and etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Involved in complete SDLC lifecycle. Requirements gathering by attending meetings in regular intervals at client locations. Analysis of the specifications provided by the clients Design and Development of Research and Reference (RR), Pensions modules. Generated the Role Specific reports. Unit testing and system testing. Implementing the changes in production. Providing & presenting necessary documentation.

Highlights

Single handedly developed Research and reference (RR) without any breach of deadlines. Suggested alternative solutions that are more robust and simpler to implement while satisfying both
