A leading professor
a t B a l i ' s U d a y a n aUniversity, Dr. Ir. DewaNgurah Suprapta, blamesthe rapid rise of tourism inBali, particularly that whichhas occurred since the1990s, as causing a dilutionof Bali's traditional cultural-tourism image.
Many foreign culturesand foreign cultural products havedisplaced Bali's unique culture, explained Suprapta..
Suprapta describe thetourism business as an industrythat places service and treating
the tourist visitor like a king atcentre stage.
C a f b u s i n e s s e s ,karaoke joints, discos and variousother forms of entertainment thatformerly did not exist in Bali arenow very commonplace, while
tradit ional Bal inesewarungs are becoming rarer, said Suprapta.
He emphasized that ifthe current situation was allowedto continue unabated, Bali willeventually lose its uniquecharacter and, in turn, its abilityto attract tourist visitors.
If Bali is no longer is
attractive to visitors, the islandwill be abandoned by the sametourists who today represent themainstay of hope for theBalinese people and tourism willno longer be able support thelocal Balinese economy , he

Suprapta alsosees a condition in whichthe farmers in Bali areeconomically poorerthan their counterparts inother parts of Indonesia. He says that manyparties in Bal i areforgetting to calculate
the negative impact oft o u r i s m o n B a l i ' sagricultural sector.
The arrival oflarge number of touristsin numbers that exceedthe population of Bali will
make the price of many basiccommodities in life increasesharply.
Suprapta warned thatfarmers, who are already living ahand-to-mouth existence, wouldbe compelled to compete withtourist visi tors and thoseemployed in the tourism sector to
try to buy daily necessities. Thefarmers, with little buying power, will be the net losers in such ascenario.

day again folks and welcome to the Kuta Weekly for 2012,should be a great year overall with the Mighty Pies lookinglike they'll come out of the box firing on all cylinders andG
ready to take on all comers. Hopefully those pesky Cats will slipup this year and drop a few notches on the ladder, fingerscrossed on that one. 2011 was a fairly big year in the world withthe biggest thing I can remember being the Japanese tsunami. Iwatched it live from one of the big screens at the Town Houses
and couldn't believe what huge power the water had as it washed away complete villages andcaused havoc at the nuclear power station nearby. I wonder if they will ever get it fixed to anacceptable standard as far as safety goes?? Time will tell I guess, and it's not like these peoplearen't used to dealing with nuclear fallout after all? Now that I think about it, there were a heap ofgreat things happening last year, Casey Stoner won the championship, Cadel Evans won the Tourde France, The Yanks Lost a helicopter in some sort of weird rescue mission in Pakistan, (I bet Kenwon't work that one out) There were so many things happen in 2011 that it just made me realizehow many things I have forgotten over the span of a year, so before I forget, I Hope you all enjoyyour new year and enjoy all the great things that happen to you in 2012. Karn The Pies
This year will also bring a few big changes to the paper by way of a few new bits of content
and different expansion moves, some of which we think you will all find very very interesting. The
first I can tell you about, is a new section called A sk M ar tha Now punters, Martha is a wealth ofknowledge, in so far as life goes, and is ready and waiting to answer your questions concerning
anything from how to deal with a rabid pack of wolfs to more pressing issues like how long does ittake to boil the perfect egg. Martha will answer any questions you have about your love life or yourproblems with ingrown toe nails and we expect everyone to get on board with this and send Marthaa quick email asking her for any advice you may see fit at the following [email protected] think there will be a heap of laughs to be had while Martha has agreedto join us at the Weekly and I look forward to the words of wisdom and contributions Martha has tooffer. Welcome to the Kuta Weekly Martha.
Ok well I think that's about my lot for the week, I hope you all get in and enjoy what thefollowing year has to offer. I hope the most of you stay safe, happy, healthy and always remember,Finding some quiet time in your life, I think, is hugely important.
Enjoy Your Week,ALIASJ..

He struckagain, surging outof the water whilet h e w o r k e r sperformed routinem a i n t e n a n c enearby.
"Elv is isquite a dangerouscroc, he's a realfirecracker," said Tim Faulkner, operations manager at the
Australian ReptilePark at Gosford, about anhour's drive north of Sydney.
"He came flying outand before we knew it he hadthe mower in his mouth andhe's taken it back into thewater, dropping a couple ofteeth in the process."
The cantankerouscroc is believed to be between40 and 60 years old -- more orless in his prime. He wascaptured near Darwin, inAustralia's north, for attackingfishing boats.
Faulkner said it wasnot unknown for Elvis tochase workers around andthat the lawnmower hadbecome an important piece ofequipment.
"We have a goldenrule -- keep the mowerbetween you and the croc," hesaid.
W h i l e t h e p a r kworkers were safe, the mowerwas damaged beyond repair,
with puncture marks and atorn throttle. Lawrence saidElvis was likely to be hard tohandle for a while.
"Crocodiles are realprimitive creatures, they'vegot a real basic set ofprinciples, and he's beaten ustoday," he said.
"For him, today, he'sking of the jungle."
Now or never for workers as "Elvis" the croc strikes again

In a sign of America's growinggirth, dude ranches and huntingcamps in the Northern Rockiesare adding heavyweight horsesand super-large saddles to seatswelling numbers of outsizedclients.
With the Centers forDisease Control and Preventionreporting that a third of U.S. adultsand 17 percent of children areobese, Western wranglers andoutfitters say they are doing all theycan to accommodate the wideningof waistlines and other anatomicalareas.
"To put it bluntly, we callthem the big-butt saddles," said LeeHart, owner of Broken Hart Ranch inMontana. The business nearYe l lowstone Na t iona l Parkseasonally provides trail rides andguided hunting by horseback tonearly 2,000 people from across the

ample enough for a stoutrider.
G u e s t r a n ch e s a n doutfitting operations also arebulking up on riding stockcrossbred with draft horses --weighing in at roughly 1,500pounds -- to fit their super-sizedcustomers.
"We have to seat 400 fatpeople every summer," said B.J.Hill, co-owner of Swift CreekOutfitters and Teton HorsebackAdventures in Jackson Hole,Wyoming.
T h e o p e r a t i o n h a sestablished a weight limit of 275pounds for trail rides and pack tripsin an effort to prevent injury to bothhorse and rider.
The extra-large animalsand saddles come as other U.S.industries, including airlines andhealthcare companies, have inrecent years adopted policies orretrofitted equipment to addressthe rising ranks of plus-size people.
For example, Bostonemergency services in 2011unveiled an ambulance for theobese. The vehicle is equipped witha stretcher that can hold 850pounds and a hydraulic lift with a

In the past five years, saddles offered for sale at Idaho'sCowboy Supply near Boise haveexpanded along with customers.Owner Molly Menchaca reported arun on saddles measuring from 17inches to 17.5 inches.
"Since people have gottenbigger and fatter, they need moreroom," she said.
A decade ago, Bagley'sTeton Mountain Ranch in easternIdaho purchased an 18.5-inchsaddle on the off chance that alarger-than-average customerwould seek a pack trip or trail ride.
Today, that saddle and apair of horses that can handleoversized loads are in regular use, said co-owner Alexis Bagley.
"We try to have somethingavailable for all," she said.
What worries Hart of BrokenHart Ranch are clients who havestretched beyond the comfort-waistzone."I've got a 22-inch saddle, which isbasically unheard of, and I've gotpeople who will overflow all sides ofit," he said.

For the not-so-serious d rinker: Marshmallow vodkaVodkas flavoured with c itrusand berries have been aroundfor years and recently somenewer brands have beentrying to create buzz withunusual flavours.
But this holiday season, for thefirst time, the world's largest vodkabrand is trying to appeal to Americans'
sweet tooth with zany flavours like"fluffed marshmallow" and "whippedcream."
F ac ed w i t h r e l en t l es scompetition from established andupstart brands, Smirnoff's owner -- theLondon-based beverage groupDiageo Plc -- took inspiration fromthings like cookie-scented candles andvanilla-scented laundry soap. It thenrelied on focus groups, mixologistsand food scientists to come up with thenew drinks, which went through some15 iterations, according to thecompany's chief marketing andinnovation officer for North America,Peter McDonough.
Tasters preferred a "toasted"
marshmallow flavor, but the marketingt eam dec i ded t ha t " f l u f f ed "marshmallow would be a better name,McDonough said, since it would helpavoid perceptions that the drink tasted"chalky or burnt."
Diageo paired the drinks withan advertising campaign around thetitle "Fluffed and Whipped" thatfeatures a circus of dancers, dogs, aerialists, women spraying whippedcream into their mouths and modelAmber Rose purring that "vodka neverfelt this good."
The mixing of sugar and spicehas struck a chord, particularly withyounger, female drinkers, say someNew York bartenders.
"In five years of bartending, Ihave never seen a bottle sell out thatfast," said Dena Kravitz of RosieO'Grady's Irish Pub in Manhattan'sTimes Square. "It's the martini of theyounger generation."
Smirnoff, born in Russia about150 years ago, says it is trying to makeitself relevant and cool to youngeradults, drinkers in their 20s and 30s.But some industry opponents seesweet drinks as moves to lure under-
age drinkers who can usethem to transition from soft drinks tohard liquor.
"I see this move into thesesweet drinks as catering to a youthfultaste," said James Mosher, presidentof Alcohol Policy Consultations, aprivate consultancy group. "This is nota drink that a mature adult is going toprefer."
Mosher wrote an article slatedfor publication in the January 2012issue of The American Journal ofPublic Health in which he argues thatyouth-oriented marketing campaignsby Smirnoff and other distilled spirits, which appeal to underage drinkers, were a key factor in the rise of spiritsconsumption over the past decade inthe United States.
Furthermore, the sexy imagesand allusions in the "Fluffed andWhipped" ad put Diageo in the doghouse at industry watchdog groupAlcohol Just ice, which did a"Doghouse Blog" entry on it inNovember, saying the campaign "mayhave set the bar at a new low" for what
it calls "pornahol" ads, or those that" u s e s e x u a l i n n u e n d o a n dobjectification to sell alcoholicbeverages."
Diageo, which says the targetmarket for the new varieties is 25-to-35-year-old men and women, rejectsany suggestion that it is marketing tokids and cited four investigations intoalcohol marketing by the U.S. FederalTrade Commission that concluded thatindustry ads were directed at adults.
Diageo called Mosher's article"seriously flawed and unsupported bygovernment data and marketplacerealities."
A s f o r t h e s e x y a d ,McDonough defended it and called it"a little bit tongue-in-cheek."
Diageo, the world's biggestspirits maker, has a portfolio thatincludes Johnnie Walker Scotchwhisky, Captain Morgan rum and JoseCuervo tequila.
The notion of confectionaryflavors in alcoholic drinks is not new. Inrecent years, smaller producers havecome out with Cupcake Vodka,Burnett's Whipped Cream FlavoredVodka, Pinnacle Cotton Candy Vodka,Three Olives Bubble Gum Vodka and
Georgi Candy Cane Vodka.Diageo already sells GodivaChocolate vodka, Ciroc Coconutvodka and Qream, an ice-creaminspired liqueur.
But Smirnoff is the first verylarge brand to go straight to dessert.

For those of the apocalyptic bent, the sudden appearance of 20tonnes of dead fish in Kvaenes, inthe northerly district of Nordreisa, after hundreds of blackbirdsdropped dead in Arkansas is a signthat the Mayans and Hollywoodare righ t and 2012 IS the year we all
go to hell.
Scientists are looking for a more scienceyreason. They want to conduct tests on the fish tosee if they were driven to their death by a predatoror simply swept ashore by a storm.
Locals, although clearly puzzled by theappearance of the herring, are more worried aboutthe smell: unless someone cleans up the messquick, Nordreisa will start reek of the underworld.

It will not come as asurprise to anyone familiarwith travelling in Denpasarthat much of the roads inBali's capital are in a poorstate of repair.
T h e Ba l i Po s treports that of the 555.076kilometres of road inDenpasar, 106,525 (19%) areconsidered to be badly damaged.
The head of the PublicWorks Department for Denpasar, Ir. IKetut Winarta, told The Bali Post thatmoney has been allocated toimprove road conditions over thecoming year.
Wayan Dirgayasa, the headof Bali's Bina Karya the State-Owned company that works in thearea of public construction andtechnical consultation insists that
the overall condition ofDenpasar's roads is better thanthose found in other regions ofIndonesia. By his calculations, theamount of roadway classified asgood in the capital is 293.651kilometres (52%) while 154.901(28%) kilometres were classified asgood or serviceable.
Dirgayasa confirmed thatRp. 39 billion (US$4.3 million) hadbeen allocated in the 2012 budget forroad repair and improvement in
with our plans, roads will be improvedover a length of 40.526kilometres while another49.8 kilometres are slatedfor repair. This means thatthere are still badlydamaged road areas thatwill not be repaired in thecoming year," explainedDirgayasa.
Dirgayasa blamedthe bad state of Bali'sroads on the overloading
of trucks travelling over thecapital's roads.
He also cited how manygovernment departments tear upDenpasar's roads and highwaysfor the installation of publicsewerage, drains and otherinstallations, but fails to return theroads to their original conditionsonce their work is completed.

The Quickie.A man goes into a restaurant and is seated. All the
waitresses are gorgeous.
A particularly voluptuous waitress wearing a very short
skirt and legs that won't quit, came to his table andasked if he was ready to order, "What would you like,
sir?"
He looks at the menu and then scans her beautiful frame
top to bottom, then answers, "A quickie."
The waitress turns and walks away in disgust.
After she regains her composure she returns and asks
again, "What would you like, sir?"
Again the man thoroughly checks her out and againanswers, "A quickie, please."
This time her anger takes over, she reaches over and
slaps him across the face with a resounding "SMACK!"
and storms away.
A man sitting at the next table leans over and whispers,
"Um, I think it's pronounced 'quiche'."
An Italian MaMaMrs. Ravioli comes to visit her son Anthony for dinner.
He lives with a female roommate, Maria.
During the course of the meal, his mother couldn't help
but notice how pretty Anthony's roommate is.
Over the course of the evening, while watching the two
interact, she started to wonder if there was more
between Anthony and his roommate than met the eye.
Reading his mom's thoughts, Anthony volunteered, "Iknow what you must be thinking, but I assure you, Maria
and I are just roommates.''
About a week later, Maria came to Anthony saying, "Ever
since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable tofind the silver sugar bowl.
You don't suppose she took it, do you?"
"Well, I doubt it, but I'll email her, just to be sure." So
he sat down and wrote an email:
Dear MaMa,
I'm not saying that you "did" take the sugar bowl from
my house ; I'm not saying that you "did not" take it.
But the fact remains that it has been missing ever since
you were here for dinner.

Anthony
Several days later, Anthony received a response email
from his MaMa which read:Dear son, I'm not saying that you "do" sleep with Maria,
and I'm not saying that you "do not" sleep with her.But the fact remains that if she was sleeping in her
OWN bed, she would have found the sugar bowl by
now.

"This extra 30 millionreally rounds out most of theimportant things that need to bedone. There are some otherthings that we could do, butthey're not essential," he said.
'Nothing new'
The State Opposition'streasury spokesman, Iain Evans, says the purpose of the funding isto cover the cost of a budgetblow-out.
"Before the election, theState Government were tellingeveryone in South Australia thatthey could build the oval for $450million and not a cent more," hesaid.
"The total cost now is wellover $600 million, and the $30million today primarily goes topaying for car parking that was
already part of the projectanyway."
The chief executive of theInfrastructure Department, RodHook, says the main purpose ofthe money is to provide extraparking space in the parklands.
"The two underground carparks, whilst they will contributeto support parking for major footyor cricket games, they will be
m a i n l y u s e d f o rfunctions down here at the ovalin non-major event days. That's375 cars that otherwise may beparked around the surface inthe northern parklands. Thosecars can go underground andout of sight for the normal non-major event day," he said.
"We werealready intendingto do the 300 carparks underneaththe eastern standbecause that's partof the contractdocuments. Thef a c t t h a t t h eF e d e r a lGovernment ispaying for thatgives us roughly 15million to redirectinto other aspects
of the project."We hadn't made acommitment to do the car parkunderneath the indoor cricketcentre. We knew that we had tomake a decision by the end ofJanuary on whether we had thefunds to commit to that or not.
"This announcementtoday means we'll immediatelycommit to that."
The decision endsuncertainty about the FederalGovernment's contribution tothe redevelopment, which wasone of several infrastructure
projects put on hold after theQueensland floods.
The State Governmentwill spend $535 million on theredevelopment.
Work has begun on theproject and is expected to becompleted in time for the start ofthe 2014 AFL season.

From whale sperm to coloncleansers to the shape of awoman's foot when she hasan orgasm, celebrities did notdisappoint during 2011 withtheir penchant for peddlingsuspect sc ience in t heworld's media.
In its annual list of
what it considers the year'sworst abuses againstscience, the Sense AboutScience (SAS) campaignnamed U.S. reality TV starNicole Polizzi, Republicanpresidential candidateMichelle Bachmann andA m e r i c a n s i n g e r -songwriter Suzi Quatro astop offenders, with theirdubious views on why thesea is salty, the risks ofcervical cancer vaccinesand the colon.
"I used to get a lot of
sore throats and then one of mysisters told me that all illnessesstart in the colon. I started taking adaily colon cleanser powder mixedwith fresh juice every morning andit made an enormous difference,"
But SAS was keen to dispelsuch myths. It asked qualifiedscientists from various disciplinesto comment on some of the worstcelebrity science offences.
"The colon is very importantin some diseases, but it certainly isnot the cause of all illnesses," saidMelita Gordon, a consultantgastroenterologist said in the
review. "Sore throats do not comefrom your colon, they are causedby viruses that come in throughyour nose and mouth. Taking 'coloncleansers' has no beneficial effecton your throat - or on your colon."
While the review is partlyabout entertainment, the campaigngroup stresses it also has a seriousaim - to make sure pseudo-scienceis not allowed to become accepted
as true.After Bachmann used an
appearance on a U.S. televisionshow to tell a story of a womanfrom Tampa, Florida, who saidher daughter had become"mentally retarded" after gettingan HPV vaccine designed toprotect against cervical cancer,
doctors said they feared thedamage done may take manyyears to reverse.
"It's tempting to dismisscelebrity comments on scienceand health, but their views travelfar and wide and, once uttered, acelebrity cancer prevention ideaor environmental claim is hard toreverse," said SAS's managingdirector Tracey Brown.
" A t a t i m e w h e ncelebrities dominate the publicrealm, the pressure for soundscience and evidence must keeppace."
T h e r e v i e w a l s o
highlighted a bizarre quote fromU.S. TV personality Polizzi, whodeclared recently: "I don't reallylike the beach. I hate sharks, andthe water's all whale sperm. That's why the ocean's salty."
Simon Boxall, a marineexpert and oceanographerdismissed Polizzi's suggestion."It would take a lot of whalesperm to make the sea that
salty," he said. Some of the most intriguing
pseudo-scientific suggestionscame via repeated second handinformation picked up at parties -never the most reliable source.
Christian Louboutin, aFrench footwear designer, wastaken with something a fellow party
guest told him about shoes."She said that what
is sexual in a high heel is thearch of the foot, because it isexactly the position of awoman's foot when sheorgasms. So putting yourfoot in a heel, you areputting yourself in a possiblyorgasmic situation," heexplained.
Kevan Wylie, aconsu l tan t in sexua lmedicine, responded drilythat i t 's important todifferentiate cause fromeffect.
"A woman's foot may be inthis position during orgasm, butthat does not mean that putting herfoot into this position under othercircumstances will result inorgasm," he said.

New Knight Boyd eyes more NRL glory
It was a case of new club,same routine for DariusB o y d ' s f i r s t d a y o fpreseason as a Newcastleplayer .
The Queensland andAustralia star is the Knights'biggest signing for the 2012 NRLcampaign as he links up withcoach Wayne Bennett for a thirdtime, bidding to become only thesecond player behind GlennLazarus to win premierships with
three different clubs.Boyd was typically tight-
lipped when he addressed themedia for the first time inNewcastle colours, fresh from apunishing workout under thewatchful eye of Bennett in hotconditions in Newcastle onTuesday.
Bennett has also broughtalong many of his backroom stafffrom St George Illawarra with himto the Knights and Boyd admittedthe familiarity was helping himsettle at the club.
"We have the samestrength and conditioning coachas what we had at the Dragonswhich makes it a bit easier," Boydsaid.
"I have only been here aday so it's hard to assess at themoment how the squad istravelling, but there are somevery good players here."
The 24-year-old Boyd, who said he is hopeful of ousting ,
skipper Kurt Gidley fromthe number one shirt and makingthe fullback spot his own, relocated to Newcastle before theFour Nations campaign inEngland late last year tofamiliarise himself with the area.
And in a city where rugbyleague rules, he has already
noticed the level of publicexpectation about the newseason that comes with Bennett'sarrival but warned his new team-mates to not get caught up in thehype.
"You try and not thinkabout the expectations. All youcan do is concentrate on playing,"he said.
"People will be behind ushere in Newcastle, but the otherpressures are something wehave to not think about and justplay as well as we can.
"All of us are now looking
forward to the trials which (are)only about a month away.

Williams reacted angrily whenchair umpire Eva Asderaki ruled that hershout of "come on" after hitting a

Following the ruling Williamsdirected a torrent of abuse at Asderaki -including calling her a "hater" and"unattractive inside" - and wassubsequently fined for the outburst.
But speaking before her firstround match at the BrisbaneInternational, Williams says she could
not see anything wrong withher actions.
"I honestly think I was reallytoned down, like I didn't use any badlanguage or anything, so I wouldn'tchange it so much," she said.

"Occupy" makes annual list of most overused wordsOccupy this, the trash bin. Atleast, so say students atMichigan's Lake SuperiorS t a t e U n i v e r s i t y w h oreleased an annual list ofw o r d s t h e y d e e m s omisused, overused andcl ichd they should bebanished in t he year ahead.
"Occupy," the termassociated with the months-longprotest movement in New Yorkand across the United Statesagainst income inequality and avariety of other social ills, was among the 12 nomineesafter just a few months of overexposure.
"It has been overused and abused, even topromote Black Friday shopping," said Grant Barnett ofPalmdale, California, who was among those tonominate the word.
"We are headed to Grandma's house -Occupy Thanksgiving is under way," said Bill Drewesof Rochester Hills, Michigan, giving another exampleof how the word has been overused.
At the head of the class, though, was the word"amazing," which garnered nominations from around
the United States and from as far away as Israel andthe United Kingdom for inclusion on the list by theschool in remote Sault Ste. Marie.
Many nominators mentioned overuse ontelevision, specifically by personalities such as MarthaStewart and Anderson Cooper, and on reality TV.
"Every talk show uses this word at least twotimes every five minutes. Hair is not 'amazing.' Shoesare not 'amazing,'" said Martha Waszak of Lansing,Michigan.
Although one critic suggested that the act ofgiving birth was amazing enough to be termed, well, amazing, the term "baby bump," often attached to
p r e g n a n tcelebrities such asBeyonce or GwynethPaltrow, drew scorn.
" T h i s i s aphrase we need tofinally give birth to, thensend on its way,"offered Mary Sturgeonof Vancouver, British
Columbia.The school
began its list of wordsp r o p o s e d f o rbanishment in 1976,
when it named "at this point in time" a linguistic dud, assubstituted for the concise and elegant "now." Thecollege now receives well over 1,000 nominations eachyear through its website.
Previous winners and nominees include theterms "shovel ready" for 2010, "battleground states" for2005, "24/7" for 2000 and "family values" for 1995.
Also on this year's list were "shared sacrifice,""blowback," which is sometimes exchanged with"pushback" to mean resistance, and "mancave," now afavourite with advertising copywriters.
"Not every man wants a recliner the size of a
1941 Packard that has a cooler in each arm and aholster for the remote," said David Hollis ofHubbardsville, New York.
Heading into the 2012 election year, votes werecast to ban the term "win the future," a phrase that hasbeen claimed by both the left (President BarackObama) and the right (Republican White House hopefulNewt Gingrich).
Other vote-getters included "the new normal,""ginormous," a mash-up of gigantic and enormous, and"thank you in advance.

Would you smell a pair of jeans worn-in and unwashed forthree months?
was Dirty exhibition, wherethe public will be invited to sniff theused jeans at the NGV Studio inMarch, will motivate many moreVictorians to launder less.
Participants were recruitedon social media. They ranged inage from 18 to 56, with an even

The "great unwashed"kept Facebook diaries and wereregularly interviewed to see howthey felt - and smelt.
About half hit a roughpatch between the three and six-week mark, and reported theydidn't want to wear the jeans anymore, Ms Jack said.
But by the time theexperiment ended, half wanted tocontinue wearing - and notwashing - their dirty jeans.
Ms Jack's research foundmen were more likely to washinner layers more frequently, andwere more conscious of their
scent."I thought the boys would

One participant, Matthew, has said the jeans experiment hadmade his life much easier.
"I didn't have to work outwhat to wear every day," he said.
experiment participantsstruggled to complete the task, which involved wearing a pair ofduds donated by local denim labelNobody at least five days a week inMarch, April and May last year.
Many chose to expand theexperiment and stopped washingother garments in their wardrobesuch as T-shirts, shirts and
