Kurzweil 3000 download instructions

To download Kurzweil to your Windows or Mac computer, please take the following steps: Visit the applicable Kurzweil 3000 downloads page For Windows go to www.kurzweiledu.com/k3win For Mac go to www.kurzweildedu.com/k3mac

1.Select the first link on the list, which reads “Version 15 (web license)” 2.This link provides the necessary program file for download 3.Clicking on the link starts downloading the software, save the file

(It may take one hour or more to download) 4.Once it has completed, open the download 5.Run the “.pkg” file by double clicking on it 6.Locate and open the Kurzweil 3000 icon 7.Enter your Kurzweil login information, and the program will open

To access the additional voices, please take the following steps:

8.From the same window, select Additional Acapela Voices 9.Follow the prompts to complete installation 10.Restart your computer 11.Open and login to Kurzweil 12.Select the voice you downloaded from your list of voices

You must have a Kurzweil account to log in. If you do not have an account please contact the Technology Success Center and an account will be created for you. If you have difficulties downloading the program or adding voices, please call Kurzweil Technical support at (800) 894-5374 and select option 3
