Kurt Donald Cobain

Born in 1967 on February 20th in Aberdeen, Washington. Aberdeen – city of sawmills and sawyers.

Mother - Wendy Elizabeth Fradenburg was a waitress.

Father - Donald Leland Cobain was a automotive mechanic.

Kurt got younger sister named Kimberly.

After separation of his parents he started to live with his aunt or friends and even in his own car or under the bridge.

Aunt thought him to guitar playing and showed him a rock music. Soon he formed his own rock band “Nirvana”

He was really smart boy and good at a lot of things like music, writing and drawing, but he didn’t have friends at school.

After the events with his family and unsuccessful school life he become “bad boy”. Sometimes he violated a law and once police took him to the prison for vandalism of the bank and cars.

Years activ: 1987–1994

Kurt and Krist move to Siettle and soon they become famous in different clubs, but they still didn’t had a permanent drummer. Just after some time Dave joined to them.

They signed contract with Sub Pop record label to record “Bleach” that became their first album, but it doesn’t had a real success.

After signing with major label DGC Records, the band found breakthrough success with “Smells Like Teen Spirit" from their second

album Nevermind(1991)

After this giant success, their albums were sold over 25 million in the United States alone, and over 50 million worldwide. It become to reason to had a tour around the world.

PrivacySince teenage he was very depressed person

and the reason of this was that he hated the “grey” crowd, because he always thought that he is special and different from anothers. Unfortunately crowd was everywhere.

Even his family affect his psychological situation. That is why in 15-years he made his documentary movie about suicide.

All his life he got stomachache that is why he become drug addict.

Courtney.For him she was like Nancy Spungen, like an energy battery.

Earlier his girlfriend was Tracy, but she was just like mother for him, that is why he wanted girlfriend, that will be an artist too.

At one concert in 1989 he met Courtney Love, who was young lead singer of “Hole”. He offered her to meet with him, but she reject him. Just after some time she sent him a heart-shaped box, what actually meant that she agree.

Love and Cobain married in Hawaii, on February 24th, 1992

She usually took bargains of Kurt’s and Nirvana to herself, That is why everybody know her like psychopaths and very cranky person.

She also had a different kind of addiction. Kurt and Courtney were frequently visitors of rehabilitation clinic.

She is the only child of Kurt and Courtney

Now she is 18 and she have her own art gallery.

• On April 8th, 1994, at the age of 27, Cobain's body was discovered at his Lake Washington home in Siettle by an electrician who had arrived to install a security system.

• Official reason of death is suicide.

• Official date of death is April 5th, 1994.
