Introduction of company- DEVIGARG PALACE,DELWARA

Devigarh is situated at N.H.8 in Delwara village. It¶s

belonging company is Boutique Hotels India Private Limited.Devigarh vice president is Mr. Rajneesh Sabharwal and

present General Manager is Mr. Vineet Chabra. It is a

Heritage Resort related with hospitality industry.

Objective of Devigarh - ³Exceeding Expectation Every time´

Introduction about topic- TAXATION POLICY

In this, I got knowledge of that main taxes which highly paid by

Devigarh. These are the following main taxes which is main for Devigarh-

1) Luxury Tax -: Aug. to March. = 8%, Apr. to July = 5%2) Service Tax -: 10.3%

3) Vat -: 1%, 4%, 12.5%

4) Income Tax -: Acco. to govt. policy

RESEARCH METHODLOGY

In my training programme, I have done both 2 types of 

research and make project report based on that research. Theyare as follows-

1) Primary research-

In it, I prepare a questionnaire containing 12 questions

which were field by 50 responded and they are Devigarh

employees. In this questionnaire, I asked questions related with

tax and I got positive response from them.

2) Secondary research-In it, I collect information and important data from

Devigarh manual, tax sites and also from C.R. Kothari research

methodology book.

RESULTS1) In my research, I have collected data from the

respondent monthly income of which nearly 50% of the peoples lie in between 5000-15000.

2) Generally, employees of the organization are wellexperienced.

3) Nearly 70% of the people are satisfied with their salary.

4) All the employees consider tax as compulsory payment

and this tax is directly deducted from their salary.

5) Nearly 25% of the respondent considers tax paymentas a burden on them.

6) The respondents also agree with the fact that they got

rebate in taxes though investment in LIC¶s, government

securities etc.

7) The respondents feel in convinced while making

investment in different project to get rebate in taxes

because this reduces their purchasing power.

8) Many of the respondents are not able to invest much

because their consumption is more than income.

9) Each & every persons are well known about the fact

that practical experience is very helpful while paying tax.

10) Many of the employees accept that government

charge tax for the welfare of the society.

Problems1) The respondent were not agree to fill the question.

2) Time given for completion of project was too short.

3) Company was not interested to disclose their facts.

4) Many of the respondents consider taxes as burden.

5) Many of the employees have different views regarding taxes.

6) Sometimes change in government policy may highly affect the

taxation policy of organization.

7) There are large amount of difference between knowledge andexperience of the employees.

8) It is very difficult to select appropriate questions for employees

according to their knowledge and experience.

9) Many businesspersons do not show their real income.
