KUK SOOL WON-A-THON 2016 The Kuk Sool Won-A-Thon, also know as the Kuk Sool Kick-A-Thon and Kuk Sool Weapon-A-Thon, has been a traditional fundraising event during November since 2006 in our West Auckland school. The money raised has gone toward students travelling to the World Championships in Houston, (2006 and 2008), for students to attend seminars at a reduced cost (2016) and to help with costs toward Master Alex Suh visits in October/February, (2013, 2015 and 2017). These nights have been great fun in the past and everyone always has a great time. This year there has been an increase in Master Suh’s travel costs, so we need everyone’s help to raise $2,500 US. We appreciate that money is tight, but between the three schools we hope to make $1,000 NZ. JKN Jane and I will organise all the paperwork, provide lollies and give a prize to the student who raises the most money and the student with the best etiquette on the night. WE NEED YOUR HELP Please get as many sponsors as you can for yourself or your child. Ask all your family and friends to attend the event. Make sure you can attend. Donate something for a raffle or spot prize. Help with the counting and group activities. Over the holidays. We need to build our profile on the world wide web. If you could do some searching for martial art classes in your local area and click on any link you find which refers to our classes or our websites, that would be fantastic. Our websites are www.kswmartialarts.co.nz and www.pukekohemartialarts.co.nz.

If you find us under a listing like Google, Yellow, Kids Activities, Dojo’s, Localist or Kidspot, could you please write a review.

All those we see, will be entered into our Term 1 draw. You can also get your name in the draw, if you introduce someone who signs up.

    “Please read this terms newsletter,

    there’s a lot happening.”

Great little article about us in the Franklin County News.

With Christmas around the corner we thought we would put a little Christmas shopping list together.

There is no obligation to buy, but if you would like a calendar or notebook, please put your orders in soon. We have some uniforms and t-shirts in stock, but if we don’t have your size, we will be doing another order in February 2017.
