KUDOS TO MEMBERS OF LABELLE TOWERS CO-OP! KUDOS TO MEMBERS OF LABELLE TOWERS CO-OP! The National Affordable Housing Management Association, NAHMA, sponsored their annual poster contest with their message “Open Doors with Your Imagination,” and a sub theme of “Explore the Magical World of Books and Reading.” Labelle Towers Co-op member, Marian Daniels, won 1 st place in the senior division with her submission and she won $1000 for the LaBelle house funds! Ms. Daniels’ poster will be published in the 2012 NAHMA calendar. NAHMA is the leading national advocate for multifamily property managers and owners whose mission is to provide quality affordable housing. NAHMA supports legislative and regulatory policy that promotes the development and preservation of affordable housing. CSI Support & Development Services (the parent company for LaBelle Towers Co-op and 54 other affordable senior apartment buildings managed cooperatively nationwide) has been an active member since the 1980s. MAHMA is the regional (Midwest) organization under NAHMA. MAHMA awarded an additional prize to Marian Daniels and also to James Jones of LaBelle Towers Co-op. They received US savings bonds for their award winning anti-drug poster submissions. The following Labelle members also received an honorable mention: Elnora White, Pam Williams, Gloria Baity and Marian May. LaBelle Towers Co-op and CSI Support & Development Services are proud of all members who took the time to submit posters for this contest and for supporting this important message for our youth.
