TRAVEL ITINERARY• Depart HK afternoon of Sunday, March 7• Arrive late afternoon in Kuching• Monday-Friday (March 8 –12) = Work Days

• Dept. Kuching on Saturday, March 13• Return to HK in the afternoon.

MONDAYTHROUGH FRIDAY

Let the building begin!

WHAT TO EXPECT…• In-country orientation• Construction and safety orientation at the worksite• Building activities: mix and pour cement, lay

blocks, put up timber, pass buckets of earth and cement, move gravel, sand and timber, dig foundation or trenches, paint and other miscellaneous work

• Get together party with local volunteers, staff and Habitat homeowners

• Visit an area of substandard housing• Visit a completed Habitat house• House Dedication (if timing is suitable)

MONDAY - FRIDAYA job well done!

DINING AT THE LOCAL RESTAURANTS / HAWKER STALLSKuching has a number of notable local dishes served at hawker stalls. Global chain outlets McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Starbucks is also available.

THE LAST DAY - SATURDAY

• Visit local sites, shopping at local markets

• Lunch at local restaurant• Depart for airport
