IMPORTANT: 00 not start engine without coolant. Use clean, fresh water and anti-freeze to fill the

radiator and recovery tank. When the anti-freeze is mixed with water, the anti-

freeze mixing ratio must be less than 50%. Securely tighten radiator cap. If the cap is loose or

improperly fitted, water may leak out and theengine could overheat.

Anti-FreezeIf cooling water freezes, it can damage the cylindersand radiator. It is necessary, if the ambienttemperature falls below OC(32F),to remove coolingwater after operating or to add anti-freeze to it.1. There are two types of anti-freeze available; use

the permanent type (PT)for this engine.2. Before adding anti-freeze for the first time, clean

the radiator interior by pouring fresh water anddraining it a few times.

    3. The procedure for mixing of water and anti-freezediffers according to the make of the anti-freeze andthe ambient temperature, basically it should bereferred to SAE J 1034 standard, more specificallyalso to SAEJ814c.

NOTE: The above data represents industry standards that

necessitate a minimum glycol content in theconcentrated anti-freeze.

When the cooling water level drops due toevaporation, add water only. In case of leakage, add anti-freeze and water in the specified mixingratio.

Anti-freeze absorbs moisture. Keep unused anti-freeze in a tightly sealed container.
