OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able
to:1) Produce a scrap books based on the characters in the story.
TIME: 60 minutesTEACHING AIDS: Story book (Jungle Book), a sample
of a scrap book, colour papers, colour pencils, crayons markers,
scissors, glue.MORAL VALUES: Love and caring among each
other.CCE/EE: Thinking skills, creativity
STEP 1:Teacher divides pupils into 5 groups of four.STEP
2:Teacher distributes outline pictures (mowgli , Shere Khan , etc
)of the characters in the story.STEP 3:Teacher asks pupils to
colour, cut, paste and name the characters distributed to them.STEP
4:Teacher asks pupils to create the scrap books based on their own
creativity.CLOSURE:Pupils present their scrap books to the
class.
