My apologies for not getting our May Newsletter out to you! We’ve been so busy that
I decided to combine the May and June editions.
Much is happening here in Egypt…and within the Khemit School of Ancient Mysticism!
Egypt in Process of Transformation
On June 30th
Egyptian Protestors rallied to unseat Mohammed Morsi
Millions took to the streets across Egypt to demand the resignation of President Morsi on the first anniversary
of his inauguration. Morsi did not fulfill the promises he made to the people, and the economic and political
outlook has only worsened. The Egyptian people do not want to have more restrictions placed on their personal
freedoms by extreme Islamist groups. They have now tasted and desire basic personal liberty.
Reuters reported that as many as 14 million people in the nation of 84 million took part in Sunday's
protests across the country. Many international media outlets stated that this could have been
the largest demonstration seen in the history of the world.
With the world’s spotlight on so many standing together in pursuit of freedom and their basic human rights
not only in Egypt, but also in other countries, including Turkey, Brazil and Syria, and more---the mass
consciousness of the entire planet can shift, awaken and realize the limitless possibilities of our
empowerment when we are united in our efforts. It is a time to see our similarities with mankind
worldwide, and not allow anyone to divide us by creating fear or anger over our differences.
The Khemit School of Ancient Mysticism is also experiencing Transformation
The Khemit School Gallery & Shop will soon be offering an Online Shopping page on the
Khemitology.com website. Sadat Awyan has created a Facebook Page for the Khemit Shop at
http://www.facebook.com/shopingforlocalart?fref=ts and will be our new Online Shopping Manager.
Beatrice Babare, who first came to Egypt to join her brother, Mark and Mother, Erika on our December
2012 Journey, has relocated to Egypt and we have welcomed her into the Awyan family. She has generously
offered her services as our new Administrative Assistant. With her outstanding skills as a photographer
and photo and video editor, Beatrice has also joined Sadat Awyan on the Audio Visual Team.

We are also happy to announce that Willie Van Gils, who first came to Egypt to explore the sites with us in
September of 2012, has also been welcomed into the Awyan family. He came from Holland to marry Miriam
Aywan and they have moved into their own apartment close to the Awyan home here in Giza. Willie has
been carving amazing sculptures at the Khemit Gallery & Shop and is also assisting with local guidance
at the sites in and around Giza. Willie will be an Administrator on the KSAM Facebook Group Page
at http://www.facebook.com/groups/Khemitology/ along with Kelly Delaney Stacy and Patricia.
You may also find Willie answering your email inquiries when Patricia is unavailable.
Willie will be working beside Yousef, Haroun, Yagoub and
Sadat in the Khemit Gallery & Shop carving sculptures.
He will also be assisting Yousef and Patricia in the field, sharing
the teachings and Khemitology at the sites in and around Giza.

A Journey that will feature the many facets of Mystical Egypt, including the
Enchantment of the Bahareya Oasis, the Mysteries of Ancient Amarna and the
Powerful Spirit found at the Monuments in Luxor, Aswan and Giza.
Join Yousef & Patricia Awyan on a powerful journey that will include visits to Saqqara & Dashur,
a Desert Safari in the Bahariya Oasis, Crystal Mountain and a Magical Night under the Stars in the
White Desert. We’ll spend two nights at the New Hermopolis Cultural Village, including stops at

Temples in Luxor and Aswan before returning to Giza for our Private Visits between the
