Before the installation and use of the appliance, careful-ly read the supplied instructions. The manufacturer isnot responsible if an incorrect installation and use cau-ses injuries and damages. Always keep the instructionswith the appliance for future reference.

1.1 Children and vulnerable people safetyWARNING!Risk of suffocation, injury or permanent disability.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8years and above and persons with reduced physical,sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experienceand knowledge if they are supervised by an adult or aperson who is responsible for their safety.

• Do not let children play with the appliance.• Keep all packaging away from children.• Keep children and pets away from the appliance

when it operates or when it cools down. Accessibleparts are hot.

• If the appliance has a child safety device, we recom-mend that you activate it.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made bychildren without supervision.

1.2 General Safety• Only a qualified person must install this appliance

and replace the cable.• Internally the appliance becomes hot when in opera-

tion. Do not touch the heating elements that are inthe appliance. Always use oven gloves to remove orput in accessories or ovenware.

• Do not use a steam cleaner to clean the appliance.• Before maintenance cut the power supply.

• Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metalscrapers to clean the glass door since they canscratch the surface, which may result in shattering ofthe glass.

• Only use the core temperature sensor recommendedfor this appliance.

• To remove the shelf supports first pull the front of theshelf support and then the rear end away from theside walls. Install the shelf supports in the oppositesequence.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced bythe manufacturer, an authorized Service or similarlyqualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• Ensure that the appliance is switched off before re-placing the lamp to avoid the possibility of electricshock.

2. CONDITIONS OF USEThis appliance is intended to be used inhousehold and similar applications suchas:• Farm houses

3.1 InstallationWARNING!Only a qualified person must in-stall this appliance.

• Remove all the packaging.• Do not install or use a damaged appli-

ance.• Obey the installation instruction sup-

plied with the appliance.• Always be careful when you move the

appliance because it is heavy. Alwayswear safety gloves.

• Do not pull the appliance by the han-dle.

• Keep the minimum distance from theother appliances and units.

• Make sure that the appliance is instal-led below and adjacent safe struc-tures.

• The sides of the appliance must stayadjacent to appliances or to units withthe same height.

• All electrical connections should bemade by a qualified electrician.

• The appliance must be earthed.• Make sure that the electrical informa-

tion on the rating plate agrees withthe power supply. If not, contact anelectrician.

• Always use a correctly installed shock-proof socket.

• Do not use multi-plug adapters andextension cables.

• Make sure not to cause damage to themains plug and to the mains cable.Contact the Service or an electrician tochange a damaged mains cable.

• Do not let mains cables to come intouch with the appliance door, spe-cially when the door is hot.

• The shock protection of live and insu-lated parts must be fastened in such away that it cannot be removed withouttools.

• Connect the mains plug to the mainssocket only at the end of the installa-tion. Make sure that there is access tothe mains plug after the installation.

• If the mains socket is loose, do notconnect the mains plug.

• Do not pull the mains cable to discon-nect the appliance. Always pull themains plug.

• Use only correct isolation devices: lineprotecting cut-outs, fuses (screw typefuses removed from the holder), earthleakage trips and contactors.

• The electrical installation must have anisolation device which lets you discon-nect the appliance from the mains atall poles. The isolation device musthave a contact opening width of mini-mum 3 mm.

3.2 UseWARNING!Risk of injury, burns or electricshock or explosion.

• Use this appliance in a household en-vironment.

• Do not change the specification of thisappliance.

• Make sure that the ventilation open-ings are not blocked.

• Do not let the appliance stay unatten-ded during operation.

• Deactivate the appliance after eachuse.

• Be careful when you open the appli-ance door while the appliance is in op-eration. Hot air can release.

• Do not operate the appliance with wethands or when it has contact with wa-ter.

• Do not apply pressure on the opendoor.

• Do not use the appliance as a worksurface or as a storage surface.

• Always keep the appliance doorclosed when the appliance is in opera-tion.

• Open the appliance door carefully.The use of ingredients with alcoholcan cause a mixture of alcohol and air.

• Do not let sparks or open flames tocome in contact with the appliancewhen you open the door.

• Do not put flammable products oritems that are wet with flammableproducts in, near or on the appliance.

WARNING!Risk of damage to the appliance.

• To prevent damage or discoloration tothe enamel:– do not put ovenware or other ob-jects in the appliance directly on thebottom.– do not put aluminium foil directly onthe bottom of the appliance.– do not put water directly into the hotappliance.– do not keep moist dishes and foodin the appliance after you finish thecooking.– be careful when you remove or in-stall the accessories.

• Discoloration of the enamel has no ef-fect on the performance of the appli-ance. It is not a defect in the sense ofthe warranty law.

• Use a deep pan for moist cakes. Fruitjuices cause stains that can be perma-nent.

3.3 Care and CleaningWARNING!Risk of injury, fire or damage tothe appliance.

• Before maintenance, deactivate theappliance and disconnect the mainsplug from the mains socket.

• Make sure the appliance is cold. Thereis the risk that the glass panels canbreak.

• Replace immediately the door glasspanels when they are damaged. Con-tact the Service.

• Be careful when you remove the doorfrom the appliance. The door is heavy!

• Clean regularly the appliance to pre-vent the deterioration of the surfacematerial.

• Remaining fat or food in the appliancecan cause fire.

• Clean the appliance with a moist softcloth. Only use neutral detergents. Donot use abrasive products, abrasive

cleaning pads, solvents or metal ob-jects.

• If you use an oven spray, obey thesafety instructions on the packaging.

• Do not clean the catalytic enamel (ifapplicable) with any kind of detergent.

3.4 Internal light• The type of light bulb or halogen lamp

used for this appliance, is only forhousehold appliances. Do not use itfor house lighting.

• Before replacing the lamp, disconnectthe appliance from the power supply.

• Only use lamps with the same specifi-cations.

Core temperature sensorTo measure how far the food is cooked.

Steam setOne unperforated and one perforatedfood container.The steam set drains the condensing wa-ter away from the food during steamcooking. Use it to prepare food thatshould not be in the water during thecooking (e.g. vegetables, pieces of fish,chicken breast). The set is not suitablefor food that needs to soak in the water(e.g. rice, polenta, pasta).

SpongeFor absorbing the remaining water fromthe steam generator.

If the heating element hangsdown, push it to the top of theappliance above the supportswhich are on the inner walls ofthe appliance.

5.1 Initial Cleaning• Remove all parts from the appliance.

Half Steam + Heat For dishes with a high moisture contentand for poaching fish, custard royale andterrines.

Quarter Steam + Heat To bake bread, roast large pieces of meator to warm up chilled and frozen meals.

Eco Steam The ECO functions let you optimize theenergy consumption during cooking. It isnecessary to set the cooking time first. Toget more information about the recom-mended settings, refer to the cooking ta-bles with the equivalent usual heatingfunction.

Moist Fan Baking For energy-saving baking and cooking ofmainly dry bakery items as well as for bak-ing in tins on 1 shelf position.

True Fan Cooking For baking on up to 2 shelf positions at thesame time and to dry food. Set the tem-perature 20 - 40 °C lower than for Conven-tional Cooking .

Pizza Setting To bake food on 1 shelf position for amore intensive browning and a crispy bot-tom. Set the temperature 20 - 40 °C lowerthan for Conventional Cooking .

Slow Cook For preparing especially tender, succulentroasts.

Conventional Cooking For baking and roasting on 1 shelf posi-tion.

Frozen Foods To make your convenience food like e.g.French Fries, Wedges, spring rolls crispy.

Plate Warming To preheat your plate for serving.

Steam Regenerating To reheat your already cooked food di-rectly on a plate.

7.4 Activating a heatingfunction1. Activate the appliance.2. Select the Heating Functions menu.

Press OK to confirm.

3. Set a heating function. Press OK toconfirm.

4. Set the temperature. Press OK toconfirm.

7.5 Steam cookingThe water drawer cover is in thecontrol panel.

1. Press the cover to open the waterdrawer.

2. Fill the water drawer with 700 ml ofwater.The water supply is sufficient for ap-proximately 30 minutes.

CAUTION!Do not put water directly into thesteam generator!

Use only water as the liquid. Donot use filtered (demineralised)or distilled water.

3. Activate the appliance.4. Set the steam heating function and

temperature.5. If necessary, set the function Dura-

tion or End Time .The first steam shows after approxi-mately 2 minutes. An acoustic signalsounds when the appliance is at ap-proximately the set temperature.The signal sounds again at the endof the cooking time.

6. Deactivate the appliance.

When the steam generator isempty, an acoustic signalsounds.When the appliance is cool, soakup all remaining water from thesteam generator with thesponge. If necessary, clean thesteam generator with some vine-gar.Let the appliance dry fully withthe door open.

7.6 Heat-up indicatorWhen you activate a heating function,the bar on the display comes on. The barshows that the temperature increases.

Fast Heat Up IndicatorThis function decreases the heat-uptime. To activate the function, hold for 3 seconds. The heat-up indicator al-ternates.

Residual heatWhen you deactivate the appliance, thedisplay shows the residual heat. You canuse the heat to keep the food warm.

7.7 Energy savingThe appliance contains featureswhich help you save energyduring everyday cooking:

• Residual heat:– When the heating function or pro-

gramme operates, the heating ele-ments are deactivated 10% earlier(the lamp and fan continue to oper-ate). For this feature to operate, thecooking time must be longer than30 minutes or you must use theclock functions ( Duration , EndTime ).

– When the appliance is off, you canuse the heat to keep food warm.The display shows the remainingtemperature.

• Cooking with the lamp off - touchand hold for 3 seconds to deacti-vate the lamp during cooking.

• When you use the Moist Fan Bakingfunction, the lamp deactivates after 30seconds. The lamp activates againwhen you touch for 3 seconds orwhen you open the appliance door.

• Eco functions - refer to section "Heat-ing Functions" (for selected modelsonly).

Minute Minder

To set a countdown (max. 2 h 30 min). This func-tion has no effect on the operation of the appli-ance. You can also activate it when the applianceis deactivated. Use to activate the function.Press or to set the minutes and OK to start.

Duration To set how long the appliance has to be in opera-tion (max. 23 h 59 min).

End Time To set the switch-off time for a heating function(max. 23 h 59 min).

If you set the time for a clock function,the time starts to count down after 5 sec-onds.

If you use the clock functions Du-ration and End Time , the appli-ance deactivates the heating ele-ments after 90 % of the set time.The appliance uses the residualheat to continue the cookingprocess until the time ends (3 -20 minutes).

Setting the clock functions1. Set a heating function.2. Press again and again until the

display shows the necessary clockfunction and the related symbol.

3. Press or to set the necessarytime. Press OK to confirm. When thetime ends, an acoustic signalsounds. The appliance deactivates.The display shows a message.

4. Press a sensor field to stop the sig-nal.

Useful information:

• With Duration and End Time you mustset the heating function and the tem-perature first. Then you can set theclock function. The appliance deacti-vates automatically.

• You can use Duration and End Time atthe same time, if you want to automat-ically activate and deactivate the ap-pliance on a given time later.

• When you use the Core TemperatureSensor (if applicable), the Durationand End Time functions do not work.

8.1 Heat + HoldThe Heat + Hold function keeps pre-pared food warm at 80 °C for 30 mi-nutes. It activates after the baking orroasting procedure ends.

• You can activate or deactivate thefunction in the Basic Settings menu.

• Conditions for the function:– The set temperature is more than 80

°C.– The function Duration is set.

Activating the function1. Activate the appliance.2. Select the heating function.3. Set the temperature above 80 °C.4. Press again and again until the

display shows Heat + Hold . PressOK to confirm.

When the function ends, an acoustic sig-nal sounds.The Heat + Hold function stays on if youchange the heating functions.

8.2 Extra TimeThe Extra Time makes the heating func-tion continue after the Duration ends.• Applicable for all heating functions

with Duration or Weight Automatic .• Not applicable for heating functions

with the core temperature sensor.

Activating the function:1. When the cooking time ends, an

acoustic signal sounds. Press a sen-sor field.

2. The display shows the message forExtra Time for five minutes.

10.1 Core temperature sensorThe core temperature sensor measuresthe core temperature of the meat. Whenthe meat is at the set temperature, theappliance deactivates.

There are two temperatures to set:• The oven temperature• The core temperature

Only use the core temperaturesensor supplied or the correct re-placement parts.

Using the core temperature sensor:1. Put the tip of the core temperature

sensor into the centre of the meat.2. Activate the appliance.3. Put the plug of the core temperature

sensor into the socket at the front ofthe appliance.

The display shows the core tempera-ture sensor.

4. Press or in less than 5 sec-onds to set the core temperature.

5. Set the oven function and, if neces-sary, the oven temperature.The appliance calculates an approxi-mate end time. The end time is dif-ferent for the different quantities ofthe food, the set oven temperatures(minimum 120 °C) and the operatingmodes. The appliance calculates theend time in approximately 30 mi-nutes.

The core temperature sensormust stay in the meat and in thesocket during the cooking.

6. When the meat is at the set coretemperature, an acoustic signalsounds. The appliance deactivatesautomatically. Touch a sensor fieldto stop the signal.

7. Remove the core temperature sen-sor plug from the socket and removethe meat from the oven.

Wire shelf:Put the shelf in and make sure that theindentations point down.Push the shelf between the guide bars ofthe shelf support.

All accessories have small inden-tations at the bottom of the rightand left edges to increase thesafety.

Always make sure that these indenta-tions are at the rear of the appliance.

These indentations are also an anti-tipdevice.

The high rim around the shelf is adevice which prevents cookwarefrom slipping off.

The temperature and bakingtimes in the tables are guidelinesonly. They depend on the rec-ipes and the quality and quantityof the ingredients used.

12.2 Advice for specialheating functions of the oven

Keep Warm

Use this function if you want to keepfood warm.The temperature regulates itself auto-matically to 80 °C.

Plate Warming

For warming plates and dishes.Distribute plates and dishes evenly onthe oven shelf. Move stacks around afterhalf of the warming time (swap top andbottom).The automatic temperature is 70 °C.Recommended shelf position: 3.

Dough Proving

You can use this automatic function withany recipe for yeast dough you like. Itgives you a good atmosphere for rising.Put the dough into a dish that is bigenough for rising and cover it with a wettowel or plastic foil. Insert a wire shelf onlevel one and put the dish in. Close thedoor and set the function dough prov-ing. Set the necessary time.

12.3 Cooking with steamCookware for steam cooking• Use only heat and corrosion resistant

cookware.Chrome steel food containers are cor-rect too (see special accessories).

Oven levels• There are the correct oven levels in

the table below. Count the oven levelsfrom the bottom to the top.

General notes• When you cook longer than 30 mi-

nutes or when you cook large quanti-ties of food, add water if it is necessa-ry.

• Put the food in the correct cookingcontainers on the shelves. Keep thedistance between the shelves to letthe steam get to each food.

• If you do not use the oven for a longtime, remove water from the waterdrawer, connecting hoses and steamgenerator (refer to section "Cleaningand Care").

Note on the tables for Steam Cooking• The tables give data for typical dishes.The temperature and time are for guid-ance only and depend on the composi-tion, size , quantity of food and thecookware.Use almost the same recipe if you can-not find the settings for your recipe.Start the cooking with the cold oven ifthe data in the tables does not recom-mend differently.Increase the amount of water for rice tothe ratio 1 : 1.5 - 1: 2 contrary to thespecifications in the table.

12.4 True Fan Cooking andFull Steam in succession• You can cook meat, vegetables and

accompaniments one after the otherby combining functions. All compo-nents are ready to serve at the sametime.

• Use True Fan Cooking function to ini-tially roast the food.

• Put prepared vegetables and accom-paniments in ovenproof dishes. Put inthe oven with the roast.

12.15 Roasting tableRoasting dishes• Large roasting joints can be roasted

directly in the deep pan or on the wireshelf above the deep pan (if present).

• Roast lean meats in a roasting tin witha lid. This will keep the meat moresucculent.

• All types of meat, that can bebrowned or have crackling, can beroasted in the roasting tin without thelid.

• Use heat-resistant ovenware to roast(refer to the instructions of the manu-facturer).

• You can roast large roasting joints di-rectly in the deep pan (if present) oron the wire shelf above the deep pan.

• Roast lean meats in the roasting tinwith the lid. This keeps the meat moresucculent.

• All types of meat that can be brownedor have crackling can be roasted in theroasting tin without the lid.

• We recommend that you cook meatand fish weighing 1 kg and above inthe oven.

• To prevent the meat juices or fat fromburning onto the pan, put some liquidinto the deep pan.

• If necessary, turn the roast (after 1 / 2 -2 / 3 of the cooking time).

• Baste large roasts and poultry withtheir juices several times during roast-ing. This gives better roasting results.

• You can deactivate the appliance ap-proximately 10 minutes before theend of the roasting time, and use theresidual heat.

• To clean metal surfaces, use a usualcleaning agent.

• Clean the appliance interior after eachuse. Then you can remove dirt moreeasily and it does not burn on.

• Clean stubborn dirt with a specialoven cleaner.

• Clean all accessories after each useand let them dry. Use a soft cloth withwarm water and a cleaning agent.

• If you have nonstick accessories, donot clean them using aggressiveagents, sharp-edged objects or a dish-washer. It can cause damage to thenonstick coating.

13.1 Steam Cleaning1. Remove the worst of the dirt man-

ually.2. Put 250 ml of water with 3 table-

spoons of vinegar directly into thesteam generator.

3. Activate the Steam Cleaning func-tion in the main menu. The displayshows the duration of the function.

4. An acoustic signal sounds when theprogramme is completed. Touch asensor field to deactivate the signal.

5. Wipe out the appliance with a softcloth. Remove the remaining waterfrom the steam generator.

6. Keep the appliance door open forapproximately 1 hour. Wait until theappliance is dry.

13.2 Shelf support

Removing the shelf supportYou can remove the shelf support toclean the side walls.

1. Carefully pull the support up and outof the front catch.

2. Lightly move the support on thefront catch inwards.

Installing the shelf supportTo install the shelf support follow theprocedure in the opposite order.

13.3 Steam generation systemCAUTION!Dry the steam generator aftereach use. Remove the water withthe sponge.

Remove the limescale with waterand vinegar.

CAUTION!Chemical de-scaling agents cancause damage to the enamel.Follow the instructions of themanufacturer.

Cleaning the water drawer and thesteam generator:1. Put the water and vinegar mixture

(approximately 250 ml) through thewater drawer into the steam gener-ator. Wait for approximately 10 mi-nutes.

2. Remove the water and vinegar withthe sponge.

3. Put clean water (100 - 200 ml) intothe water drawer to flush the steamgeneration system.

4. Remove the water from the steamgenerator with the sponge and rub itdry.

5. Keep the door open to let the appli-ance dry fully.

13.4 LampWARNING!There is a risk of electrical shock.The lamp and the lamp glasscover can be hot.

Before you change the lamp:• Deactivate the appliance.• Remove the fuses from the fuse box or

deactivate the circuit breaker.

CAUTION!Put a cloth on the bottom of theinterior of the appliance. It pre-vents damage to the lamp glasscover and the cavity.Always use the same lamp type.

Replacing the lamp at the cavityceiling:1. Turn the lamp glass cover counter-

clockwise to remove it.2. Remove the metal ring and clean the

glass cover.3. Replace the lamp with a suitable 300

°C heat-resistant lamp.4. Attach the metal ring to the glass

cover.5. Install the glass cover.

Replacing the lamp on the left side ofthe cavity:1. Remove the left shelf support.2. Use a Torx 20 screwdriver to remove

the cover.3. Remove and clean the metal frame

and the seal.4. Replace the lamp with a suitable 300

°C heat-resistant lamp.5. Install the metal frame and the seal.

Tighten the screws.6. Install the left shelf support.

CAUTION!Be careful when you remove thedoor from the appliance. Thedoor is heavy.

1. Open the door as far as it goes.2. Fully lift up the clamping levers (A)

on the two door hinges.

4. Hold the door with one hand oneach side and pull it away from theappliance at an upwards angle.

Put the door with the outer sidedown on a soft and level surfaceto prevent scratches.

5. At this time you can remove the in-ner glass panels and clean them.

To install the door do the above steps inthe opposite sequence.

Removing and cleaning the doorglasses

The door has 2, 3 or 4 panels ofglass (the number depends onthe model).

CAUTION!Rough handling of the glass, es-pecially around the edges of thefront panel, can cause the glassto break.

1. Hold the door trim (B) on the topedge of the door at the two sidesand push inwards to release the clipseal.

2. Pull the door trim to the front to re-move it.

3. Hold the door glass panels on theirtop edges one by one and pullthem upwards from the guide.

4. Clean the door glass panels.To install the panels do the abovesteps in the opposite sequence. In-sert the smaller panel first, and thenthe larger one.

a) ‘acceptable quality’ as referred toin clause 10 of this warranty hasthe same meaning referred to inthe ACL;

b) ‘ACL’ means Trade PracticesAmendment (Australian Consum-er Law) Act (No.2) 2010;

c) ‘Appliance’ means any AEGproduct purchased by you ac-companied by this document;

d) ‘ASC’ means AEG’ authorisedserviced centres;

e) AEG is the brand controlled byElectrolux Home Products PtyLtd of 163 O’Riordan Street, Mas-cot, NSW 2020, ABN 51 004 762

341 in respect of Appliances pur-chased in Australia and Electro-lux (NZ) Limited of 3-5 Niall Bur-gess Road, Mount Wellington, inrespect of Appliances purchasedin New Zealand;

f) ‘major failure’ as referred to inclause 10 of this warranty has thesame meaning referred to in theACL and includes a situationwhen an Appliance cannot be re-paired or it is uneconomic forElectrolux, at its discretion, to re-pair an Appliance during theWarranty Period;

g) ‘Warranty Period’ means:– where the Appliance is used

for personal, domestic orhousehold use (i.e. normal sin-gle family use) as set out in theinstruction manual, the Appli-ance is warranted against man-ufacturing defects in Australiaand New Zealand for 60months, following the date oforiginal purchase of the Appli-ance;

– this Appliance is not designedfor commercial use and there-fore no warranty applies in thiscase;

h) ‘you’ means the purchaser of theAppliance not having purchasedthe Appliance for re-sale, and‘your’ has a corresponding mean-ing.

2. This warranty only applies to Appli-ances purchased and used in Aus-tralia or New Zealand and is in addi-tion to (and does not exclude, re-strict, or modify in any way) any non-excludable statutory warranties inAustralia or New Zealand.

3. During the Warranty Period AEG orits ASC will, at no extra charge ifyour Appliance is readily accessiblefor service, without special equip-ment and subject to these terms andconditions, repair or replace anyparts which it considers to be defec-tive. AEG or its ASC may use rema-nufactured parts to repair your Ap-pliance. You agree that any replacedAppliances or parts become theproperty of AEG. This warranty doesnot apply to light globes, batteries,filters or similar perishable parts.

4. Parts and Appliances not suppliedby AEG are not covered by this war-ranty.

5. You will bear the cost of transporta-tion, travel and delivery of the Appli-ance to and from AEG or its ASC. Ifyou reside outside of the servicearea, you will bear the cost of:a) travel of an authorised represen-

tative;b) transportation and delivery of the

Appliance to and from AEG or itsASC,

In all instances, unless the Applianceis transported by AEG or an AEG au-thorised representative, the Appli-ance is transported at the owner’scost and risk while in transit to andfrom AEG or its ASC.

6. Proof of purchase is required beforeyou can make a claim under this war-ranty.

7. You may not make a claim under thiswarranty unless the defect claimed isdue to faulty or defective parts or

workmanship. AEG is not liable inthe following situations (which arenot exhaustive):a) the Appliance is damaged by:

– accident– misuse or abuse, including fail-

ure to properly maintain orservice

– normal wear and tear– power surges, electrical storm

damage or incorrect powersupply

– incomplete or improper instal-lation

– incorrect, improper or inappro-priate operation

– insect or vermin infestation– failure to comply with any ad-

ditional instructions suppliedwith the Appliance;

b) the Appliance is modified with-out authority from AEG in writ-ing;

c) the Appliance’s serial number orwarranty seal has been removedor defaced;

d) the Appliance was serviced or re-paired by anyone other thanAEG, an authorised repairer orASC.

8. This warranty, the contract to whichit relates and the relationship be-tween you and AEG are governedby the law applicable where the Ap-pliance was purchased. Where theAppliance was purchased in NewZealand for business purposes theConsumer Guarantee Act does notapply.

9. To the extent permitted by law, AEGexcludes all warranties and liabilities(other than as contained in thisdocument) including liability for anyloss or damage whether direct or in-direct arising from your purchase,use or non use of the Appliance.

10. For Appliances and services provi-ded by AEG in Australia, the Appli-ances come with a guarantee byAEG that cannot be excluded underthe Australian Consumer Law. Youare entitled to a replacement or re-fund for a major failure and for com-pensation for any other reasonably

foreseeable loss or damage. You arealso entitled to have the Appliancerepaired or replaced if the Appliancefails to be of acceptable quality andthe failure does not amount to a ma-jor failure. The benefits to you givenby this warranty are in addition toyour other rights and remedies un-der a law in relation to the Applian-ces or services to which the warrantyrelates.

11. At all times during the Warranty Peri-od, AEG shall, at its discretion, de-termine whether repair, replacementor refund will apply if an Appliancehas a valid warranty claim applicableto it.

12. For Appliances and services provi-ded by AEG in New Zealand, theAppliances come with a guaranteeby AEG pursuant to the provisions of

the Consumer Guarantees Act, theSale of Goods Act and the Fair Trad-ing Act.

13. To enquire about claiming underthis warranty, please follow thesesteps:a) carefully check the operating in-

structions, user manual and theterms of this warranty;

b) have the model and serial num-ber of the Appliance available;

c) have the proof of purchase (egan invoice) available;

d) telephone the numbers shownbelow.

14. You accept that if you make a war-ranty claim, AEG and its ASC mayexchange information in relation toyou to enable AEG to meet its obli-gations under this warranty.
