Parts manual BiG LineThis parts manual is a comprehensive reference book to facilitate your daily routine in factory and office. On the following pages you will find the most popular wearing parts of the KRONE BiG Line machines (BiG X including front attachments, BiG M and BiG Pack) as well as specific parts. With the aid of the table of contents on page 4 you can locate the position of your demanded part in the machine. The table of contents is arranged, as far as possible, according to the crop flow in the machine. Arrived on the right page, the mechanical drawing helps to find the demanded spare or wearing part. Then you look for the particular machine type (e.g. BiG X 700) and you will find the correct part for your machine easily. ExplanationsHeavy Duty Some wearing parts are charged more than others because of their function and/or position in the crop flow. That includes for example cutting blades, wearing plates, discharge paddles, cutting discs etc. For these wearing parts KRONE offers beside the standard version also a so called Heavy Duty version (abbr.: HD). The Heavy Duty wearing parts are much more wear-resistant because of a special coating system and thus archieves a considerably longer service life. All wearing parts in Heavy Duty version are marked clearly in this calalogue. Repair resp. conversion kit Because of the constant development process some spare and wearing parts were reworked and improved in the course of time. To assure that the renewed parts can be inserted accurately in the (partially older) machine, a repair resp. conversion kit is required. You get a kit with all necessary parts which are needed for the modification. The required order numbers of the kits are listed with the affected spare or wearing parts.

KRONE Exchange Service (Exchange parts) At KRONE you have the possibility to purchase professionally restored machine parts. It is about formerly defect parts which KRONE reprocessed. You can purchase these parts at a favourable price. The mentioned parts are marked in the following with an own exchange number.

BiG X 650* Within the BiG X 650 series some technical modernisations were introduced and immediately included in the current 650 series. This is the case for the machine numbers 734231, 734274, 734527, 734528, 734659, 735005, 735156, 735431, 735550, 735606 as well as for all newer machines from number 749000 on. The affected machines are always listed separately with BiG X 650* in this catalogue and are for example recognizable by the colour monitor.

No compromises: KRONE excellent spare and wearing partsIf you invest in a KRONE machine you are convinced of the quality and functionality. To guarantee this in the long term there is only one way: the spare and wearing parts come from the same source as the machines or directly from the reproduction. Every KRONE spare or wearing part is already considered at the construction of the machine. So the required stability of the parts is exactly in line with each harvest machine. That is an important quality criterion which connot be considered at the market by the reproductors! Quality comparison using the example of cutting blades Because of their special tungsten carbide alloy which is connected in a sinter process at an exact temperature to the cutting edge of the knife, the knives are very wear resistant. Through this the grinding work is reduced and the life span is extended. The fuel consumption and harvest costs are also reduced significantly. Unter the microscope the coating quality is clearly visible.

Quality comparison using the example of discharge paddles The pictured parts of the discharge scoops are both unused. The poor production quality is not only optically identifiable at the reproduction. The coating of the tines is only spread on the surface and can be scratched off with the finger nail. This is not possible at all because of the stronger coating of the original part.
