Senior Logan McGinnis, 18, was the first student to obtain a diploma from Armstrong High School with the aid of his canine companion, “Reese’s Cup”. group that have represented Armstrong Senior High School and our communities with pride and distinction.” The 2018 class officers are: President Kenzie Lasher, Vice President Nolan Turco, Secretary Hayley Woodside and Trea- surer Matthew Hiles. Following was invocation given by Senior Matthew Hiles. Junior High Principal Kirk Lorigan introduced both the saluta- torian and valedictorian. The Salutatorian is Jaysa Grafton. She graduated with a 4.4825 GPA. Her speech was asking and answer the question of “So What?”. “I believe we are all des- tined to find out ‘why’, whether it be to college a job, a technical school, or just by chance,” she said. ” The Valedictorian is Alyssa Lobb. She gradu- ated with a 4.6235 GPA. “I hope all of us change the world and are success- ful, but that is something each of us must do on our own,” she said. The ceremony ended with the Declaration of Graduation by Rummel, followed by the entire class singing the Alma Mater. The students then walked off as a group and threw their cap into the air cel- ebrating the end of their high school career.
