If you would like to save or enhance your relationship, and have more intimacy, start more conversations with this phrase: "Remember when we?" (Uh...remember something good here!) According to the Jour- nal of Social and Personal Relationships, when couples remi- nisce more often about the good times they've shared, it brings them closer. Good memories also motivate people to pay more attention to happy experiences, which leads them to create more. Happy sharing, from The John Tesh Radio Show! G ot an empty jar of pickles - just the juice left? Here’s what to do with it: Make it into a marinade for your meat! The vine- gar and salt will tenderize the meat by breaking down some of the protein. It looks like a decent time for a Fall BBQ - maybe. Try it! T o improve your balance, take a swim! A study shared from the American Journal of Epidemiology found that swimmers were 33% less likely to fall down than people who didn't swim regularly… And on tests of balance, swimmers scored better than runners, bicyclists, and golfers. distance from the home. Some additional tips for developing and

practicing a home escape plan:• Draw a map of your home with all mem-

bers of your household, marking two exits from each room and a path to the outside from each exit.

• Practice your home fire drill twice a year. Conduct one at night and one during the day with everyone in your home, and practice using different ways out.

• Teach children how to escape on their own in case adults are not able to help them.

• Make sure your house number is clearly marked and easy for the fire department to find.

• Close doors behind you as you leave — this may slow the spread of smoke, heat, and fire.

• Never go back inside a burning building. Once outside, stay outside.
