In August 2015, at age 90, Carter was diagnosed with melanoma which had metastasized to his liver and brain, and he began treatment which included surgery, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy. On December 6, 2015, Carter, now 91, announced that he was cancer-free. Cancer diagnosis On August 3, 2015, Carter underwent elective surgery to remove "a small mass" on his liver, and his prognosis for a full recovery was initially said to be "excellent". On August 12, however, Carter announced he had been diagnosed with cancer that had spread elsewhere in his body, without specifying where the cancer had originated.[188] On August 20, he disclosed that melanoma had been found in his brain and liver, and that he had begun treatment with the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab and was about to start radiation therapy. His healthcare is being managed by Emory Healthcare of Atlanta. Mr Sri Harsha from U.K asked the following questions about his job through mail on 6 Oc-tober 2015. Immediately I erected a TIME CHART on 6-10-2015 @06.05.03 a.m @ Secunderabad, Telangana state. The questions raised are 1. Wiil there be any change in my job? 2. If so when? 3. If the job change takes place in the existing company, will it be with additional and different responsibilities? 4. Or will it be total change of the place and position? Coordinates for judgment--- If the 10th cusp sub lord signifies 5- change of service and 9- change of job/profession by leaving the existing job simultaneously should signify 2-6-10-11 houses to get a new job. 1) Lagna should indicate the query—as per the time chart lagna cusp sub lord Saturn is placed in the star of Saturn—lord of 5-change in the service / job, 6-job, is placed in 2-income and family. So the lagna establishes that the query is related to job and job change and earnings. 2) Moon indicates the mind of querist—moon in the time chart is the lord of 11 is placed in 10 (profession). Recently I had a chance to read the natal chart of one of my relations, who has been diagnosed as a PLEURISY effected as evidenced by the CT scan report with the remarks of "There is Pleural Effusion in the left lower hemithorax associated with collapse consolidation of adjacent lung (segmental consolidation)." (Hemithorax is a type of pleural effusion in which blood accumulates in the pleural cavity.) The native has undergone a surgical procedure called DECORTICATION to remove restrictive layer of fibrous tissue overlaying the lungs, chest wall and diaphragm, allowing the lung to re-expand. Ruling Planets of Lungs: As per the Medical Astrology the lungs are ruled principally by Mercury and Gemini Sign. (Medical Astrology for all by K. Subramaniam). But as a researcher of Medical Astrology field, I was not agreed and satisfied with the out-come of a single chart to make a solid conclusion of the disease under study. While trying to find out one more chart of pleurisy affected, my memory ran up to the natal chart of Ma-hathma Gandhi ji, which once I have analyzed for the research study of Assassination, who have been suffering from Pleurisy. Chart No. PL 02 -Mahathma Gandhi ji The Asc. sub lord Venus, also being the lord of Asc. and 8, in Lagna in its owned sign Libra in the star of Jupiter (Retrograded), lord of 6 (disease pointer), in 7 (Maraka), Aries sign. The Sub of Venus is Mercury (ruler of Lungs) is in Ascendat cusp, in the star Rahu in 10 Cancer and in the sub of Saturn the lord of 4 (Lungs) in 2 (Maraka) Scorpio sign. Here Jupi-ter, being the lord of 6 (disease), 3 (Breathing) is opposite to Lagna and Mars, Venus & Mer-cury. Mars (Maraka & Badhaka Lord) and Venus are in the star of Jupiter. Also Rahu and Kethu are connected with Jupiter, being representatives for Jupiter's sub Moon. In both cases above one or more rules are satisfied reciprocally, but no exactly a same rule is to be indicated. But some interesting and peculiar points have been found in the both charts as below Retrograded Jupiter Connection of Jupiter with natural Retrograded Nodes Rahu and /or Kethu. Dasa lords at the birth are connected with Nodes Here I have well understood that nodes are not to be treated as retrograded planets, be-cause their natural movement is in the opposite direction as said by Sri C.R.Bhatt in his Nakshatra Chintamani in page 20. But one of the chief significators for Lungs, Jupiter and its retrograded motion in above both cases, and the connection of Nodes are so important to study with the case consideing whether nodes are direct or retrograde. Rahu and Ketu always move backward and so they are not considered as retrograde planets. (KP Reader VI pp 146, 221) Ω However, this virtual (not actual) retrogression has been stated in the classic texts, Bha-vatha Ratnakara, Brihat Parashara Hora Shatra, Horasara, Jataka Parijata, Jataka Tattwa, Phaladeepika, Sanketanidhi, Saravali, Uttarakalamarita and the articles on the role of "Retrograde Planets in Astrology" in the Astrological Magazine (AM) of Bangalore, March 1967 to November 1974, by Vedic astrologers, Bepin Behari, V.A.K. Iyer, Ajanta Jain, R. Lakshmanan, R. Santhanam, P.S. Sastri, V.K. Sinha, B. Suryanarayan Rao etc. And among divergent views retrogression has been mainly considered as an indication of strength (chestabal) because a planet, when retrograde, is nearer to Earth and can have its greater impact. Astrology & Athrishta - September 1978 page 33 KP suggests that retrogression in natal Chart is nothing.(See Reader vi, page 145) but in Horary, retrogression is to be tackled carefully. Any planet direct or retrograde in Horary is nothing, but if it is in the star of another retrograde planet it become inactive, hence it brings only a failure. Star lord Moon is occu-pant of 4, owner of 10. Sub lord Saturn is occupant of 9, owner of 4, 5. Thus 6th sub lord signifies 1, 5 with 8, so desire of cure in back pain and gastric is not seen completely. Indi-cation of 8 give you operation too. Question 1: Cuapal Sub Lord and Dasa Period Lords (Significators) Sir, I am referring to the article appearing in Sri. K.M. Subramaniam's books - Sub Lord Speaks Vol. 3 page 168. Quote "The sub lord gets the power to divert the results of the dasa lord. And therefore a planet of its independent powers over bhava results cannot effect it independently. That par-ticular bhava cusp sub lord having powers to effect results for a particular bhava alone has to be implemented by the dasa lord" unquote. But in KP it is also emphasised that Bhukti lord will implement the significations of bhavas of dasa lord. Even if the bhukti indicates favourable matters in respect of a particular event, and if the dasa lord does not permit the event, then that event cannot take place during that bhukti period. In most of the examples in the above books, it is seen that, the materialisation of events dur-ing various bhuktis have been dealt with, even though the significations of a particular event not signified by the dasa lord. It is a bit confusing. I shall be obliged to have your opinion in the matter. Answer 1: “The cuspal sub lord of a house indicates whether the matter of the house is favorable (promised) or not. The significators point the time of event. Both dasa, bhukti and go-chara (transit) must agree.” -KP Reader V page 224 (Original Edition p 211), KP Reader III pp 226, 362 (Original Edition, Practical Part pp 68, 194) In KP Bhukti lord can't offer what the Dasa lord doesn't permit. “No Bhukti can offer a result if Dasa lord does not permit. If the Dasa lord is not a sig-nificator of the result which Bhukti lord is to give , Dasa lord, the final authority will not give the ultimate result. Planets from a cabinet. tion of legal marriage 7th house. Bhukti lord Ket is in 7, in the star of own Ket aspected by Sun in 2, l/o 5, Ket’s sign lord Jup in 11, l/o 8, and in sub of Mar in 3, l/o 7,12. Bhukti lord is very favorable for marriage but it is not materialized because Dasa does not allow marriage. Question 2: Selection of Fruitful Significators I am a learner in KP Astrology. I am going through NAVARATNAMALA-2, KP FOR BEGINERS PART-7. PAGE: 57. Fruitful significators for H. No. 2 sig are su,me,ma,ve,ke etc., 1. Sun and Mercury are rejected as the sub of Ma signifying 1 and 10. with-out signifying 2,7 and 11. But if you check the significators, Mars signify 2,. 2. similarly, ma and ke are rejected as sub lord ju is signifying 6. But ju also signifying 7. 3. ra is rejected as sub lord ju is signifying 6. But Ju is also sinifying 7. herewith I am attaching the chart as per the birth details given by you. This is for your kind information and for my clarifications.

Taking sub Mars’ star Mercury in 2, lord of 3, 12, and considering Mars signifying 2 is the 4-step meth-od originated by K.M. Subramaniam, but it is not KP. “In order to know what each planet can contribute always consider its sub lord.” -KP Reader III page 362 (Original Edition, Practical Part page 194) Mars is in 1, lord of 5,10, in the star of Mercury in 2, lord of 3, 12 and in sub of Jupiter in 5, lord of 6,9. Ketu is in 5, conj. Jupiter in 5, lord of 6,9, in the star of Mercury in 2, lord of 3, 12 and in sub of Jupiter in 5, lord of 6,9. Rahu is in 11, in Taurus representing Venus in 1, lord of 4,11, in the star of Mars in 1, lord of 5,10 and in sub of Jupiter in 5, lord of 6,9. Note: Here similarly it is to consider sub Jupiter’s occupation and lordship only. Taking sub Jupiter’s star Saturn in 4, lord of 7, 8, and considering Jupiter signifying 7 is the 4-step method but not KP. Question 3: Reunion with Spouse In VOL-4, page:200/201 of KP says: For reunion with husband/wife and perfect domestic facility consider houses 2, 7, 11. In VOL-6, page-250 of kp says: Husband to return home and join the wife one is to judge the houses 11, 7 and 6. Which is to follow?. Both are kp volumes and written by KSK. Answer 3: KP Reader IV, page 200/ KP Reader VI, page 246: For reunion with husband and perfect domestic facility, consider houses 2, 7 and 11. 7th house indicates husband, martial happiness and life with legal husband; 2nd house indicates family and domestic facility; 11th house indicates reunion, cordial relation and permanent tie with married partner. KP Reader IV, page 145 The sixth house is separation from wife, if already married. KP Reader IV, page 191 Houses 2,7 and 11 are to be judged for union (marriage)…the 12th house to houses 2,7 and 11 are all detrimental for smooth, pleasant family life with wife. It is therefore logical to consider houses 2, 7 and 11 for reunion with husband/wife.
