With the 65th Anniversaries of the Korea War entering its first year, the Republic of Korea (ROK) government has made the decisions to once again commemorate, not only the veterans and their contri- butions to saving their country from Communism, but to Welcome Veteran’s Grandchildren to Korea on a very special program in July. Called "Peace Camps for Youth" (PCFY), this program was a huge success in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 & 2105 and we have quotas to continue the program this year. General information & requirements: * Participant must be a Grandchild of a Korean War Veteran in college program. * Be at least eighteen (18) years old (waivers for 17 year-old high school graduates.) * Grade Point Average of 2.5 required. * Be in "relatively" good health since some physical hiking/walking is involved. * Have a current passport. * There are forty quotas and it will be first come, first served. The group will have a tour escort. * All expenses for the grandchild while in Korea, will be paid for by the ROK government. (Double occupancy) Each participant will receive discount air to Korea. (The ROK Government will pay a 50% portion of the roundtrip airfard.) * A service of charge of $250 is required for administrative handling, U.S. tour escort, ticketing, health and disability insurance (required by the ROK government) & hats. * All programs are conducted in English. Beijing China PCFY Post Tour Itinerary

Beijing is only a two hour flight from Korea. The price is right since your grandchilden have done the Trans-Pacific flight. Now is a special time to visit Beijing since all of the main tourist attrac-tions have been renovated as seen during the 2008 Olympics & again for the 2013 National Day.

Day 1 - After breakfast, trans-fer to airport for Beijing. Arri-val, orientation, walking tour of “Tian An Men” Square and Legation area. Check-in to ho-tel after dinner.

Day 2 - Walking tour of the Forbidden City, “Hutong Rick-shaw tour” through the laby-rinth of old Beijing neighbor-hoods. Special visit and lunch

with a traditional Chinese Hutong family, military museum tour, special acrobatic show and authentic Peking Duck Dinner this evening.

Day 3 - After Breakfast, we head for the “Great Wall of China” at Mutianyu. Lunch with local farm family. Tour the famous Ming Tombs at Changling. Dinner at a local restaurant and time to enjoy Beijing at night.

Day 4 - Visiit the Beijing Zoo with the world’s largest collection of Pandas in captivity. Tour the legendary Summer Palace be-fore a lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, see the Temple of Heaven and a shopping stop in silk alley. Tonight is our Farewell Dinner.

Day 5 - After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to the USA crossing the international dateline arriving same day.
