Remove cover with four screws. Make electrical connections from Tegan Remote Power 24VDC Supply to Rigid Trac Floating Power Feed. Note orientation of Trac. Caulk around ceiling opening then attach to outlet box with screws.

Working outwards from Floating Feed, carefully support the length of Powerspan Cable as close to Trac while the cover is applied. Snap cover over cable, onto Trac. A rubber mallet can be used to move cover along Trac short distances to reduce visible seams between sections. Cover can be cut with a chop saw; straight cuts are required, and debur the edges.

Where an Exton LED module is to be mounted, leave a 4” gap between two sections of cover. Ensure module has a small dab of dielectric grease around prongs. Taking care not to bend prongs, press module into exposed Powerspan Cable by hand. Then, snap clips over Trac, and tighten set screws to fully press module into the Powerspan cable..

At end of run, use supplied Silicone Sealant to seal the cut end of the Powerspan Cable, and to seal the End Caps into the Trac.

Category: Tegan’s exclusive Exton Rigid Trac System mounts to any horizontal or vertical surface. Kore EX5 Direct Mount Downlight, Adjustable Downlight or “G” Frosted Envelope. Floating J-Box Power Feed. Designed for use with a remote Power Supply Enclosure with Driver. Optional 0-10V Dimming.

Material: Rigid Trac: Powerspan Cable with Aluminum extrusion covers. Kore EX5 LED Module: UV stable exterior anodized aluminum, UV stable polycarbonate glass lenses, rubber o-rings.

Note: Anodizing is an electrochemical process that results in superior corrosion resistance. This process can result in a vari-ance of finish from batch-to-batch.

Powerfeed: Aluminum Envelope: Hand blown, tooled glass. Note: Tegan’s Glass Envelopes are hand blown with tooling. While the tooling provides

consistency in scale, the Envelopes will have minor variations from Envelope-to-Envelope and batch-to-batch in scale and appearance. There also can be minor bubbles and tool marks on the surface. These are all common attributes of blown glass.

Finish: Rigid Trac, End Cap & Power Feed: Black Exterior Powder (BLK). Kore EX5 LED Module: Exterior rated, brushed, two-step electrolytic color anodizing. Anodized Black (BLK). Contact factory for Aluminum finish.

LED Modules: Downlight (DL), Adjustable Downlight (ADJDL), “G” (Globe) Glass Envelope Frosted (GEF). Contact factory for alternative Glass Envelopes or Acrylic Gem options. 15°, 25° or 35° (specify one) for Kore EX5 Downlight and Adjustable Downlight. A 15° reflector is supplied in G Envelope option to maximize decorative element illumination..

LED: High Wattage Array Cree LED, 2-Step Macadam. 5W @ 500L with 2700K 82-85 CRI typical. All values are initial lumens. For exact lumen output and wattage consumption data, please consult LM79 reports. Online power consumption does not include driver losses. Contact factory for 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 90 CRI.

Accessories: DL/ADJDL: Kore-EX5 Exton Sandblasted Lens (EX5-SBL), Exton Solite Lens (EX5-SOL), Exton Honeycomb Louver 16 - Black (EX-HCL-BLK), Exton Snoot - Black (EX-SNT-BLK) (Downlight only). Rigid Trac Span: Maximum Rigid Trac mounting is 60’ (18.3m). Note that the cable must be a continuous run without interruption. 300W max. per circuit. When specifying cable length, add 20% to the run length for installation.

Power Feed: Exton IP65 Floating Power Feed for Remote Power Supply - Black Finish. Contact Factory for Aluminum finish. Mounts to a IP65 4” J-Box, by others.

Electrical: 24VDC. Total input watts per EX-5 Module: 6.5W. 300W max. per circuit.

Remote Power Supply: The Exton System is designed for use with a Remote Power Supply Enclosure and Driver. Maximum distance from farthest

away module to the Remote Driver is 100’. Refer to Exton Power Supply IP20 Specsheet, IP24 Specsheet, IP66 Specsheet or IP68 Specsheet for details. Use of Tegan Lighting Power Enclosures and Drivers only. If supplied “by others” the war-ranty and listing are void.

Installation: Rigid Trac is not approved or listed for indoor pool/spa installations. Refer to Installation Instructions #23 for details. For system layout, and specification assistance, refer to the Exton Application Guide for details.
