Hi kids! Welcome to Konnect! I'm so glad you're here! My name’s _____ and I'm your emcee! Guess what? We’re gonna talk about why we celebrate Easter. Jesus healed our hearts with HIS love. He PUT OTHERS FIRST! Say it with me: PUT OTHERS FIRST! Before we get started, my friend Nitro will explain some important rules!

It’s so great to be able to give to God! Now let’s learn today's Point. It says, God’s love heals your heart. Repeat it after me loud and proud: God’s love heals your heart. (pause) Super! I wonder who will discover the Point on the Konnect Station this week! Let’s watch and find out!

You know what heals your heart? GOD’S LOVE! God loves you every day, and sent His Son, Jesus, to take the punishment for your sins. God’s love PUTS OTHERS FIRST. Tell your neighbor, “PUT OTHERS FIRST!” (Pause) Super! Let’s learn about worship!

When you follow Nitro's rules, you can help your team earn Dots! Wow! God healed Mike’s heart, so he could show love to his sister, and now that she’s following Jesus, God’s love is healing her heart, too! Let’s practice our Verse about that. I’m so glad we have the ABCs of salvation to make us right with God! Everything we’ve been through means nothing without Him! Now it’s time to talk about what we can DO this week to let Jesus change us to be more like Him, and PUT OTHERS FIRST! It’s great to see all of you! My name’s _____ and I'm your emcee! This month we’re learning about PUTTING OTHERS FIRST. Say that with me: PUT OTHERS FIRST! Make it louder: PUT OTHERS FIRST!! Super! Let’s listen to Nitro as he explains our rules so we can have the MOST fun possible!

I love to honor God with my offering! Okay, let’s learn today's Point. It says, God’s love isn’t selfish. Repeat it after me loud and proud: God’s love isn’t selfish. Way to go! Now get ready to watch the Konnect space station crew learn the Point, too!

When you show kindness to others, you’re showing God’s love. Tell your neighbor “GOD’S LOVE ISN’T SELFISH!” (pause) That’s good stuff! Now, let’s say that Point together again. GOD’S LOVE ISN’T SELFISH! Yes! Now we can learn about worship!

Show me what a good audience looks like! Fantastic! Participating in everything is a great way to get Dots. Wow! Nitro had to re-learn how to be self-LESS instead of self-ISH! Our Bible verse talks about that. Let’s say it together. Philippians 2:3 Don’t be selfish … be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Great job! Now let’s do an activity that reminds us WE can be humble and PUT OTHERS FIRST!

Say the ABCs with me: ADMIT, BELIEVE, CONFESS! I’m so glad God kept it simple for us to get to know Him! And once we know Him, God will help us to be self-LESS, like Him, so we can PUT OTHERS FIRST, no matter what. I’ll give out a few more Dots during your talk time, count the Dots, and announce the winner when it’s time to go!

Wow, we’ve got a good-looking crowd of kids here today! Welcome to Konnect! My name’s _____ and I’ll be your emcee! Are you a kid who PUTS OTHERS FIRST? (pause) Say PUT OTHERS FIRST as loud as you can (pause) Awww … you sound like a bunch of old grandmas! Repeat after me: PUT OTHERS FIRST!! (pause) That was better! Keep that thought in your minds as we watch Nitro break down the rules!

I saw some generous Konnect kids! Here’s the Point we’re learning today: God’s love seeks peace. Now repeat it after me: God’s love seeks peace. (pause) Di-no-mite! Now that the Point’s in your head, let’s see which Konnect crew member figures it out!

Wow! God’s love brings us together when we try to have peace with each other! Say, “SHOW GOD’S LOVE!” to your neighbor. (pause) You’ve been so tremendous — I’m awarding a few Dots to BOTH TEAMS! It sure is getting close! Watch this worship video with me so we can all know about worshipping God!

Now how many rules were there? Show me with your fingers! (pause) That’s right, four. When your team is being a great example of following all four rules, I’ll give you Dots. Seeking peace isn’t just about apologizing. It’s also about getting along with other people that follow Jesus! Today’s Verse talks about that. Say it with me: Ephesians 4:3 … keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. You sounded brilliant! It’s activity time with your small group leader! When I found out Jesus died for me to make me right with God, I was surprised He loves me so much and wants to listen to and answer every one of my prayers! Having Jesus in your heart fills you with God’s love and helps you to PUT OTHERS FIRST, every day. Don’t try to do it all by yourself! Ask Jesus to save you and help you! You can talk more about the ABCs and seeking PEACE in your small groups while I give out some more Dots!

Woot! Woot! I’m ready for a FUN-tastic time with you kids! My name’s ____ and I’m your emcee! Buckle your seat belts (pretend to buckle your seatbelt) and hold on as we learn about PUTTING OTHERS FIRST! Everybody say it with me: PUT OTHERS FIRST! Aw, c’mon … you can say it louder! (Put your hand to your ear and pause.) Wow! My ears are hurting now! Listen up as my best robotic friend, Nitro, shares the rules with all of us!

God gives me so much, and I’m so blessed I get to give some of it back to Him! Are you ready to say this week’s Point? Okay, let’s do it! God’s love forgives. Open your hearts to learn how important it is to PUT OTHERS FIRST by forgiving them.

IT is IMPOSSIBLE to show God’s love to others if we refuse to let go and FORGIVE! I’m gonna give out Dots to the team who can say, “LET IT GO!” the loudest! Let me hear you Team ONE (pause) Okay, Team TWO! (pause) Oh, Team ___ was the loudest! (award Dots to loudest team) Now look on the screen to focus on worshipping God!

Great! You all listened so well to Nitro — and I can see you need a reward for your great choices! Well, here’s the Dot Spot for this team (point to the Dot Spot and put a Dot in) and here’s the Dot Spot for this team! (point to the Dot Spot and put a Dot in) I’ll be trying to catch someone from your team doing great so I can add more Dots to your Dot Spots! Now I’ll pick two kids to pick up our offering while the rest of us watch the offering video to find out why we give money to God.

We don’t forgive just because we’re supposed to We forgive because God forgave us, first! Forgiveness shows God’s love, and PUTS OTHERS FIRST. Let’s say our Bible verse about that together! Colossians 3:13 … Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Great job! Now, let’s play a game with our small groups about forgiveness!

God gives us a lot of examples in the Bible about how to live for Him, but without Jesus, we won’t be able to do it. Admit your sin. Believe Jesus died for you. Confess Jesus is your Lord! That’s when God can change you and give you the power to live a life that shows He’s your friend. Ask God to let His love show in you every time you PUT OTHERS FIRST. Then they might want to be part of Jesus’ family, too!
