IMMORTAL 5

- The might of the pentagramImmortal 5 is a game in which the managerial skills of participants are tested, with

special emphasis on the marketing, human resources management and financial

management skills. The participants creative inclination and quizzing acumen will

also be evaluated.

Though mental abilities are essential to any management fest, physical endurance

is also indispensible to the activities that are a part of Immortal 5. So get ready to

showcase the power of your brain and brawn.

Rules:

Immortal 5 is a multi-round and multi-level event. The game shall be conducted over three days. Exactly five participants are required to be in each team. Ten teams will be selected from four preliminary rounds in case the total

numbers of teams exceed ten.

Two teams will be eliminated after each round. The final round will have four teams. All the teams need to carry a laptop. No limit on the number of teams per institution.

Prize:

Winner: Rs.40, 000/-

Runner Up: Rs.20, 000/-

Mr. Voldemort

- The Last Dead Man StandingThis is a game in which the participants need to master all the domains ofmanagement, right from being a good marketer and a financial whiz to an

operations expert and a human resources manager. By being innovative and

extremely sharp in resource allocation, the participants can become brilliant

strategists and the ultimate rulers.

Rules:

It is an individual game. The game shall be conducted over two days. The game consists of six rounds. The final round shall have only four participants. There is no limit on the number of participants per institution.

- Blaze like a flameThis game is a platform for the participants to showcase their creativity in

advertising products in situations and predicaments never imagined before.

Rules:

A team of maximum four students can participate. Maximum 3 teams per institution can participate.

Rendezvous with Black Donald

- Illusion is the dust the devil throws in the eyes of the foolish!This is the business quiz competition open to all quizzing minds across thecountry. It will test participants intelligence & spark. It is a day event.

Rules:

Participants have to register online. A prelim will be conducted to shortlist 10 teams. There will be 7 rounds. After every 2 rounds 2 teams will be eliminated. A team of exactly 2 students can participate. No limit on teams per institution.

Prize:

Winner: Rs. 15,000 /-

Runner up: Rs. 7, 000 /-

The Dark Wall Street

- Time is galleonsThe Dark Wall Street is a game of investment of the right amount at the right time,

in stocks listed under the NSE or the BSE. Using virtual money, the participants

will have to show what it takes to become the new fish in the fin town.

Rules:

It is an individual game. Each of the participants will be given an initial fixed amount of virtual cash. The brokerage firm will charge a commission. The whole game will be governed bywww.khelostock.com. The winners would be announced based on the closing Net Worth. There is no limit on the number of participants per institution.

Mystery Man

Mystery Man is a game in which the participants shall be given a SIM card which

would be their only point of contact with others. By negotiating with the person on

the other line, the participants will have to solve all mysteries, dictating their terms

and conditions to the competitors at the end of the day.

Rules:

Only one participant per college. It is an individual game. The game will be conducted over one day, consisting of three rounds. The final round will have maximum four participants.

Planchet

- How innovative is your B-plan?This is the annual Business-Plan competition in which the participants will have to

meticulously design an original plan and become innovators right away.

Rules:

The contestants have to submit the executive summary of their business planby 10th October, 2011.

The contestants have to submit their business plan by 14th October, 2011. The shortlisted contestants have to present their plan during Kolosseum. There can be 1 to 5 participants per team. There is no limit on the number of teams per institution.

Prize:

Devils Theater

- Can You Ruin The Prime Time?In Devils Theater, the participants have to create a short ad film that can sell

combs to the bald or refrigerators to Eskimos. The participants have to show their

creativity in a platform like never before.

Description: Participants have to make ad keeping in mind the following:

The company calls itself Chalti Rahe. The participants are welcome todesign a logo and tagline for the company.

The company aims to create a chain of roadside two-wheeler repair shopsacross India, a sector which is completely un-organized now.

The shops promise to repair everything from cycles to mopeds tomotorcycles, quickly, professionally and with minimum cost.

Remember, the ad film needs to go beyond just creating an animated punchline.

The ad should have a clear customer segment in mind and the value shouldbe communicated effectively.

The advertisement should be completely original, creative, andinnovative. It can be humorous, shocking, funny, crazy, but meant for

general public viewing.

Any significant resemblance to any existing form of print/visualadvertisement will lead to disqualification.

The time duration of the video should not be more than 90 seconds. Sizeshould be less than 20 MB.

There can be a maximum of three participants in each group. There is no limit on the number of teams per institution. Entries are to be sent by e-mail. The ad has to be submitted before 15th October, 2011.

Midnight Innovators

- The Brand War Is On!In this 21st century armada, gadgets have replaced the sword in this fight. In

Midnight Innovators the participants have to create a 21st century product orservice. This is an offsite game that the participants can participate in right from

their campus.

Rules:

The competition is all about creating a product or service that should beinnovative with a clear customer segment in mind.

The product or service should have a price and the price needs to be justifiedby the team from market and production perspective.

A sketch/diagrammatic representation of the product or service arenecessary.

An entry should be a PowerPoint Slideshow of not more than 9 slides,including a title slide.

Entries are to be sent by e-mail. Plagiarism shall not be entertained. Any contestant suspected of plagiarism

will be disqualified.

There can be maximum three participants per team. There is no limit on the number of teams per institution. The participants have to submit their design and describe briefly the

technical underpinnings, usage, target customers and any other relevant

details of their product or service before 15th October, 2011.

Screaming Skulls

- Resurrect Them All!Screaming Skulls is a rock-band competition, a platform for young renegades who

like to play it the growling way.

RULES

Each band will be given a time slot of 40 minutes which is inclusive of thesound balancing.

Bands can get their own equipments and gadgets as per their requirements. Programmed music will not be allowed to be played on stage. Bands are requested to give a list of their choice of songs. Organizers will not be responsible for failure of any bands personal

instruments.

There can be a maximum of eight participants per group. There is no limit on the number of teams per institution. The teams need not be from the same institution or any institution as well.

ON STAGE (Will be provided by Organizers)

Adequate monitors including side fills. The participants shall be provided with one lead vocal microphone and

two side vocal microphones and one basic drum kit (2 toms, 1 floor tom,1 base drum, single base pedal, 2 symbols crash & a ride, 1 high hat).

Carnival of Souls

- The Grey Couture!The Carnivals of Souls is a fashion show of Kolosseum MMXIgraveyardawakes that goes beyond the usual panache as a palette of grey hues mark thisseason. Needless to say, grace, beauty, creativity, aura, poise and confidence of theparticipants would be judged.

RULES:

The participating team has to select a theme. The participants can wear anything in accordance with the themes. Each team will get 20-25 minutes to perform. The participants should get their sound tracks. The participants should get their costumes. There can be a maximum of fifteen participants per team. There can be a maximum of one team per institution.

Prize:

Dance of Death

- Dance The Wovoka Way!

Dance of Death gives a stage to passionate dancers for showcasing their talent.From a tap dancer to a hip-hopper or to a folk dancer, the participants can tune in

to any rhythm to perform the ultimate Dance of Death.RULES:

Groups have to bring their own tracks, both in mp3 (in pen drive) and WAVaudio (normal CD audio track) format.

The participants can get their own props as per their requirement. There can be a maximum of ten participants in each team minimum of four. There can be only one team from each institution.

- The shriek of terror!Banshees Call is a platform for talented singers. In this singing competition, the

participants can get their own karaoke tracks and any equipment as per their

requirement.

Paranormal Click

In this game, the participants have to take pictures within KIIT Campus duringKolosseum. You just require the right angle and the right exposure for the ultimate

paranormal click.

Rules:

This is an individual contest. This game shall be conducted over three days. The participants have to bring their own camera. There is no limitation on the number of individuals participating per college.

Prize:

Winner: Rs 3, 000/-

Pale Countenance

A face painting contest in which the participants will have to play with palettes and

pastels to show who this generations Picasso are.

Rules:

There can be only two participants per team. There are no limits on the number of teams per institution. No prior registration required.

Burnt Shroud

It is a T-shirt designing competition that needs to have a message which may be

supporting a cause or simply witty. It is a showcase of colors, designs, thoughts

and everything creative.

Rules:

There are no limits on the number of teams per institution. It is an individual and on-the-spot game. No prior registration required.

Prize:

Winner: Rs 3, 000/-

Rehabilitation Centre

In this game participants will get chance to show their entrepreneurial & marketing

skills by attracting maximum footfalls to their stalls. This will give participants

chance to earn money by targeting huge student crowd during Kolosseum MMXI.

Rules:

Participants will get 10x10ft stall. They can have games, food, art, product or something different &

innovative.

The stall idea has to be submitted before 12th October, 2011 by e-mail. Students will get a stall at 50% discount at just Rs. 2500 per day. Prior registration is required.

There are no limits on the number of teams participating perinstitution.

Prize: Reimbursement of the registration fee.

Ground Zero

Need For Speed: Most Wanted

If speed is what required in becoming good managers, the participants will have to

show what drives them. A LAN gaming competition in which the participants will

have to focus in becoming a speedster extraordinaire.

Rules:

o Individual Event.o Host will be decided by lottery.o Tracks will be decided by lottery, by players, and by referee.

Tracks include:

Circuits - Campus Interchange, Country Club, Hastings, Switchback,Waterfront, Diamond, Hillcrest Boundary, Omega/Industries, and

Clubhouse.

Sprints - Bay Bridge/Seaside, Camden/Dunwich, Camden/Ironwood,Camden/route 55, clubhouse/Lennox, Forest Green, Highway 201,

Lyons/State, Seaside/Interchange, State/Warrent and NFS World Loop.

Game format:

Tracks Selection: Lottery (2 sprints, 1 circuits (3 laps) per playoff atrandom)

Race winfirst person crossing the finish line. Match winFirst person to win two races (from both types). PlayersFour per match till semi-finals. Semi-finals & final will have

two players per match format.

TypeAll matches are knockout in nature. One Proceeds to nextround, rest would be eliminated.

(Game format is subjected to change and will be notified before thestart of the tournament.)

The players are not allowed to bring their own saved files. No cheats, game mode, trainers or scripts are allowed. All cars are allowed. JUNKMAN parts are allowed. Breaking of Pursuit Breakers by Players in races is allowed. Tuning the cars is allowed. Disconnection, if unintentional or by technical problems arise can lead

to restart of race.

The players can bring and use their own gaming peripherals

FIFA 2010

If speed is what required in becoming good managers, the participants will have to

show what drives them. A LAN gaming competition in which the participants will

have to focus in becoming a speedster extraordinaire.

Rules:

It is an individual event. The players wishing to play using joypad must bring their own. The game will be knockout round. The half duration will be two minutes. If the connection gets lost after 5 minutes in the game the result will be

declared on the basis of first half, if in any case the game is draw till 1st half

penalty shootout will be taken as decider.

In all the matches except semi finals & finals if the game is draw at the endof 20 minutes direct penalty shootout will be taken.

In semi finals & finals if the game is draw at the end of 20 minutes thenextra time will be provided & then penalties will be taken.

The half duration is of two minutes. In the finals half duration will be of 4 minutes. If in finals the connection get lost the game will be played again. In case of discrepancy decision of the organizers will be final. Classic XI and World XI are not allowed. You are not allowed to score goals from your own half. The Rocket Shot is completely forbidden, no matter where the shot is taken

from.

Counter Strike

Game Version: Counter-Strike: (1.6)

General:

Each team can comprise of maximum of 6 members. Competition Method: 5 vs. 5 players each team. Victory Condition:

a. In league stage there is going to be total of 20 rounds per map. Firstteam to reach 11 win will be the winner.

b. From quarter final the total of 30 rounds per map will be played. Thefirst team to win 16 rounds will be declared the winner.

A coin toss will determine the map. Side selection will be done by knife round. (CT or T) Official Maps: De_Dust2, De_Inferno, De_Nuke.

Tie Criteria:

Pre Quarter: 1 point will be given to each team. Post Quarter:

a. Side will be selected by knife round.b. Overtime consists of 6 rounds with starting money of $5000. Each

team will play 3 rounds as Terrorist and 3 rounds as Counter-Terrorist

c. Only team leaders are allowed to use public in-game messages withina match. The rule also applies when dead. Use of messagemode1 by

any member other than the team leader shall result in a warning.

The Server Master will record the process of the match.

General Game Setting: Round Time: 1 minute 45 seconds. Approved Grenade Amounts Per Round (per person)
