• Gives users a chance to practice conversations in a “risk free” environment
• Kognito has simulations listed in the National Registry of Evidence Based Practices and Programs (NREPP)

And with those 620 users…
Over 99% rated the simulations as good, very good, or excellent!
Over 99% said they would recommend the simulations to their peers and colleagues!

Behavior Change in Faculty & Staff
What Faculty and Staff in Michigan are Saying

• I liked that it gave some background on how veterans can feel about their service and how they feel other people view them.
• There wasn't any sugar-coating or minimalizing of their socialization on campus.• It was timely and the dialogue seemed plausible. it presented some things I had not thought of,
even though I have been through other training regarding Vets on campus.• The situations were realistic, and very informative. Some things I had never thought about, and
these videos made me more aware of how veterans may feel.
Three months after taking the simulation…• I go into a bit more depth when asking about their service and how it has impacted them
academically, socially and mentally. I am more at ease in asking about service and that has translated students seeming more at ease in giving me more complete or comprehensive answers.
• After taking this course I intervened with a student veteran suffering from PTSD and encouraged him to seek help from on and off campus resources, and assisted him in locating those resources. He accepted the help offered and is doing much better psychologically and academically.
Promoting Kognito

While there has been some great successes across these CMVE institutions…
17 of the 26 locations have less than 20 users
And
19 institutions have no usage!
We can work together to change this!
