We are pleased to share our extensive activities with you in this brochure. We have been producing Swiss quality in the Jura-Südfuss area since 1910 and are committed to our production site in Switzerland.

Our high-performance laboratory infrastructure allows us to ensure high quality and to produce high-standard products. Our laboratory workers are dedicated every day to new and continued development.

7PRODUCTIONThe two production sites located in Wiedlisbach and Solothurn are both ideally linked to traffic and commercial networks and produce a comprehensive range of paints and coatings from a vast number of raw materials.Fiscal targets and environmental practi-ces are integral in our company and are applied accordingly in the daily process of production.

Our comprehensive and versatile ma-chinery platform enables us to produce the most varied batch sizes. We are thus in a position to provide flexibility and expedience in deriving solutions in a changing marketplace.

9COLORIMETRYA wide range of basecoats and our inno-vative tinting system allow us to carry out a vast number of client orders within the agreed time and with exactly the right col-our shade. First-class pigments ensure high-hiding power and consistent and shade resistant colour quality – created to last for decades for the entire Knuchel product range.

With the help of the latest software and hardware, our experienced team of colo-rimetry specialists produce the most exacting shades of large batches as well as mixtures according to customers’ submissions on a day-to-day basis.

11LOGISTICSAs a manufacturing company we depend upon large storage space in order to off-set market fluctuations when purchas-ing raw material and to obtain the perfect batch size.In order to permanently guarantee high availability and to respond to customers’ needs the optimal way, we maintain a fi-nished goods warehouse comprising more than 4000 pallet spaces.

High availability is ensured through advanced logistics and a high number of pallet spaces. Our spaces are on hand to ensure raw materials and semi-finished goods are waiting to be processed into high-quality turn-key products.

13SALESThe core tasks of our sales department are to ensure flexible and seamless order processing and to deliver sound profes-sional advice and coordination with the field-service staff.Our qualified technical consulting staff of-fer support on the most varied colour-tech-nical matters. Our well-trained and profes-sional field-service staff provide hands-on expertise for our customers on site.

Our competent and friendly in-house experts happily receive customers’ orders and make the necessary arrangements. The team is an impor-tant service bureau for production, colorimetry and logistics.

15BUILDINGSThe innovative Knuchel coating systems meet the highest requirements in qual-ity and aesthetics as developed over an extensive period of object experience in concert with efficient cooperation with ex-perts in the building industry.We pay attention to economics in construc-tion. Our vast experience and economical range of products ensure measurable results.

When it comes to structural protection our job is to ensure value, protection and long-term preservation. The aim is to treat the most diverse interior and exterior surfaces according to the base material used.

Our range of products include solutions ranging from water-thinnable to oil-based varnishes applicable for industrial and commercial use.The most varied application techniques such as painting, spray-painting, immers-ing, flow-coating or UV and microwave drying are all possible with our advanced products and ensure efficient working procedures.

Wood is a living and natural material and requires perfectly matched trans-parent, glazing or covering treatment systems. Wood surfaces need to be protected individually and according to requirements.
