GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR CREDITSBRING YOUR CREDITS TO UBWe want your credits to transfer, and we’ll do our best to make sure they do. If a course doesn’t seamlessly match a corresponding UB course, we may be able to transfer it as a general elective.Transfer a total of up to 90 credits from any combination of the following:
• up to 63 lower-division (100- and 200-level) credits from a community college
• up to 70 lower-division credits from a four-year institution
• up to 20 upper-division (300- and 400-level) credits from a four-year institution
• up to 30 credits with acceptable scores and/or completion from: › Advanced Placement (AP) examinations › College Level Examination Program (CLEP) › Defense Activity for Non-Traditional
Education Support (DANTES) › International Baccalaureate (IB)
examinations › transfer credit for prior learning.
The above is provided as a guideline for planning purposes. Actual credits are contingent upon official course evaluation.
REVERSE TRANSFER PROGRAMTransfer to UB for your bachelor’s degree and finish the requirements for an associate’s degree from your community college at the same time.
ACCELERATED OPTIONSWe can help you accomplish your goals faster with our accelerated bachelor’s to master’s degree programs. For selected programs, you can pay undergraduate tuition rates for up to 9 graduate credits later in your undergraduate career that can be applied to both degrees, saving you approximately a semester of time and money in graduate school.
