It keeps us from wrong thinking and guards us from false doctrine
When received rightly it grows us in maturity – into likeness of Jesus
It is a great mercy and an incredible privilege!

- We as Christians claim to know the Truth about God- One God in Three Persons…not- Eternal Creator of All…not - Who alone draws people into fellowship with Him
- Makes himself known- Overcomes that which prevents us from knowing
Him- Central to this revealing and reconciling work is Jesus
