If you’ve wanted to learn how to knit, and you think you would try the patience of Job, just come on
over for our beginner knitting class. Our 1-session class will teach you how to knit. You can BYON (bring
your own needles) and BYOY (bring your own yarn) or purchase your materials at The Flying Needles for
10% off after you have registered. This class is held each Wednesday & Saturday morning at 11 a.m.,
and you can take as many sessions as you want! Each class is limited to 4 people. These classes do fill up,
so please register for this class by stopping by or calling us at

This class is usually taught by Owner Susan Dickerson but all The
Flying Needles Yarnistas may make an appearance.

This neck warmer is a fun knit for a next-step beginner or an intermediate knitter. Add texture to this

**Notes for the Beginning Baby Sweater: You will be

Spectra is a simple, lightweight scarf featuring two
fingering weight yarns. Short row shaping creates a
dramatically curved edge that coils and playfully
drapes. The intarsia technique entwines two

We’ve had requests for it, and now it’s here: BEGINNING COLOR WORK! This spunky Crosshatch Shawl

Summer is almost here, and we know 1st-hand a
parent’s struggle during summer! Don’t wait! Pre-
emptively strike! We’ve created a special session of our
beginning knitting class for ages 10 and older. Yarnista
Ashley Pels will lead this one-session, 2-hour class held
on Saturdays from 2:30 to 4:30 pm on June 3 & again
on June 17.

Deep in the bowels of summer, kids are BORED
and your ideas are all tapped out! Let us help you
with your 10 and up tween or teen! We’ve created
a week-long camp to tap into all sorts of craftiness
the week of July 17-21. Each morning from 10 am
to 12 pm your tween or teen will dive into CRAFTY
CAMP! Either pay for the whole week or go a la
carte and choose a single or several. Our Craft
Savants will teach beginning knitting, knitting a
messy bun hat, crochet, beginning weaving and
finally, yarn dying!
The full week of classes is $275 with materials included. If choosing a la carte, pick the craft day you

class is for YOU! Our Crochet Queen Jill Gushue will have you crocheting in no-time flat. Call to set up
your one-on-one, half-hour crochet class on Wednesdays. Have 3 time options for us so we can give Jill
options. We are open until 7 pm on Wednesdays, so we feel sure we can accommodate your schedule.
