Cookies for Soldiers from Sunday School Students! Meet Melanie and Kerri to make and bake cookies and create a fun care package for Knapp‘s soliders: Jacob Drumm, Adam Drumm, and Tom LaPeer. Come one day or both days. If you can‘t come, write a little something for us to include. We would like each student to bring a joke or a Bible verse. Please bring anything you would like for the Care Packages such as inexpensive novelty items, magazines, or food items. Research online for other ideas.

the group on Tuesdays and/ or Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:45! Only a $6 suggested donation!

Student Ministries (6th-12th grade)

Band Practice will resume July 17 at 11am, and continue on Sundays at this time until fall.

Regular Youth Group will begin again in September.

Missions: Local & Global

Kids Hope USA – You are encouraged to pray for Trinity R. this week. She is mentored by Denise Marsh and prayed over by Jan Vergouwe. Trinity helped out with the blood drive by calling church members and helping out at the blood drive canteen here at church last week. She has 5 brothers and is the only girl! Back to School Supplies – It is time already to start thinking ‗Back to School!‘ Supplies are starting to go on sale. Please consider purchasing some for needy inner-city school kids. A box is in the narthex for donations OR if you would prefer, every $10 can provide a pair of NEW shoes for a needy child through In the Image. Please see Karen for these donations.

FAMILY MUSIC ON THE HILL @ KNAPP Mark your calendars for August 21 & 28 as KC will be inviting the whole community to come hear live music on the south lawn while enjoying snowcones and popcorn. We will also have a kids‘ activity area. Please stay tuned how you can help with this exciting outreach event. A signup is available or see a missions committee member with questions.

NAME CHANGE CONTEST – We are holding a contest to rename our church. Please submit suggestions to Pastor Dean or any vision committee member. A great prize will be awarded to the winning choice! CHURCH PICNIC & BALLGAME at GR Twp Park Save the Date: Sunday, August 14 – 4:30pm BLOOD DRIVE RESULTS Knapp Church‘s Kids Hope program received $10 for every attempted donation last Sunday. Of 17 attempts, 13 were successful, so thank you for helping our program here at Knapp and a special thanks for helping to save lives with your donation.
