WORK EXPERIENCE
Mazars Ireland, Harcourt Street, Co. Dublin. Insolvency Intern May 2015 – August 2015. Four-month Internship in the Residential Mortgage Unit section of Mazars Insolvency Division. My team was primarily in
control of Bank of Ireland assets and was acting as a receiver of behalf of the bank. Tasks included; billing the bank for funds to pay costs on properties, recording Revenue information relevant to Bank of
Ireland borrowers, settling invoices in relation to RMU properties and organising legal documents to be sworn by solicitors. During this internship, I enhanced my teamwork and communication skillsby assisting my colleagues on various issues and
regularly having to reach out to other teams within Mazars to source information and to solve problems.
VMWare International, Ballincollig, Co. Cork. Revenue Support Analyst June 2014– January 2015
Completed a six-month Internship as part of the BSc Finance course. I was a member of the Global Revenue Support Team in VMWare, who are responsible for providing the worldwide VMWare Revenue Team with information and assistance.
Duties included; performing Install Base reviews and purchase validations, analysing customer deals for revenue recognition to keep in line with SOX guidelines, advising worldwide sales teams on pricing queries, and communicating with other global teams in Palo Alto, Austin & Bangalore.
During this internship, I improved skills such as time management, computer skills and communication. There was a great reliance on me to work efficiently as other teams relied on my speedy execution of tasks. From this, I
developed a sharp attention to detail attribute that I employ in all tasks.
Londis Supermarket, Cobh, Co. Cork. Cashier October 2012 – March 2015. Duties included handling transactions, dealing with customer complaints, opening and closing the shop, managing starting
and ending till floats and general upkeep of the store. Due to my consistently good performance, I was promoted to work in the conjoining off-licence after six months. During my tenure in this workplace, I was able to develop my people skills first hand from interaction with the customers.
