The bizhub 420 incorporates a perfect userinterface. The control panel can be tilted as required and the enlarged display is par-ticularly suitable for those with a visualimpairment. The fast response touch-LCDand the exceptionally clear, straightforwardstructure mean that even the occasionaluser will feel completely at home with thebizhub 420.

Smooth speedy scanning

The document feeder is fitted as standardon the bizhub 420 and scans up to 70 origi-nals per minute. Thanks to the standardnetwork card scanned documents can berapidly stored, distributed via scan-to-eMailor shared within the network.

Full communication

Installing the 40 GB hard disc makes the dis-tinguished Konica Minolta Box functionalityavailable. An enormous quantity of documentscan be stored in up to 1,000 user boxes asrequired. Documents can thus be retrieved,recombined, reprinted or distributed at will. Inaddition accessibility can be easily definedacross the whole range. This full flexibility is aboon for any lively, efficient office.

The optional Super G3 fax is the all-in-onesolution for office faxing. It is equipped with awhole range of functions, all of which aredesigned to be both effective cost and timesavers. Among them are memory receptionand transmission, broadcasting and a goodrange of one-touch and programme dialswhich enable faxes to be sent to predefinedusers or user groups merely at the touch of a button! With the installation of a second fax kit even the simultaneous reception and transmission of faxes is available.

Top security is essential

The bizhub 420 is easily integrated into the office network. Rest assured, however, thatKonica Minolta provides the perfect protectionfor the shared environment.

For instance, a print job can be given a password and only once the correct pass-word has been entered at the machine will the print job be executed.

Similarly the optional hard disc can be pro-tected with a password, stored data can beautomatically erased at user selected intervalsand the optional encryption tool ensures thatthe data remains secure even if the hard discis removed, thus preventing the unauthorisedreading of data.

The bizhub 420 also complies with the latestinternational security standard ISO 15408EAL3*. This standard guarantees the preven-tion of unauthorised access to and tamperingwith the network and all files.
