university, they will receive an e-mail confirmation with the address of
a link and a step-by-step guide to the application procedure.

ECTS Credits
A student can obtain 30 ECTS credits for a semester and 60 ECTS
credits for an entire academic year.

Transportation
By Coach/Bus
There are intercity coaches in Kilis and Gaziantep to travel to any city in
Turkey. Kilis bus station is in the city center and easily accessible by the
students. Recommended companies for Coach/Bus:
Cayiragasi Turizm From Istanbul/Ankara/Izmir to Kilis
Metro Turizm From Istanbul/Ankara to Gaziantep and Kilis
If you are travelling by Coach/Bus, please take Özgür Dolmuþ (Midi Bus) at
Gaziantep Otogar (Central Station for Coaches) to go to Kilis. It costs 7
TL (3€). Özgür Dolmuþ: +90 342 221 2493
By Air
The distance from Kilis 7 Aralýk University to the nearest airport
(Gaziantep) is 40 km. Recommended airline companies:

At Gaziantep Airport, please use HAVAS Bus Service
to go to Kilis Garaji (Sub Station for Kilis Özgür
Dolmuþ and it is in the city center of Gaziantep) and then take Özgür
Dolmuþ (Midi Bus) for Kilis. The fare for Havas is 10 TL (4€) and for Özgür
Dolmuþ 7 TL (3€).

Insurance
All exchange students should possess current and up to date medical insurance before arrival. International students with a private medical insurance need to confirm that their insurance covers the expenses that may occur during their stay in Turkey.Make sure you have emergency/hospital coverage by getting a health insurance policy valid in Turkey before coming. Kilis 7 Aralýk University is not responsible from the students who arrive without a proper health insurance.
Orientation
The volunteers from the student clubs of Kilis 7 Aralýk University introduce the
incoming Erasmus+ students to various services and systems in Kilis, the
local authorities also help them get familiar with the city. As a part of the
Orientation Program, the incoming students usually meet their departmental
coordinators to discuss their course choices.
Language
All incoming Erasmus+ students are required to possess sufficient language
skills to attend lectures and sit examinations. Students should be competent
to communicate through the medium of English before coming to Kilis 7 Aralýk
University.
Approximate Cost of Living in Kilis
Visa
All international students must obtain a Student Visa in order to
register at Kilis 7 Aralýk University. Student visas cannot be
obtained in Turkey. Accepted students should apply for a visa to
the nearest Turkish Embassy or Consulate in their home
country.
